Meanwhile, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Finn, Rey, and BB-8 landed on the planet Takodana. Then they went to the nearest cantina which was being run by Maz Kanata. "Hey Maz." Han Solo said walking towards her. "Han Solo, where's my boyfriend?" Maz asked. "Chewie's working on the ship." Han replied smiling at her. "I love that Wookie. Who are you?" She asked looking at Rey above the rim of her glasses.
Rey looked at Han Solo then back at Maz. "I'm no one." Rey replied. Maz then stared at Rey for another moment more and stayed silent. Before she could say anything, Rey began to walk away from them. "Rey are you okay?" Finn asked. But, Rey didn't say anything it was like she was in a trance, just then she saw a girl who had long light brown hair with ice blue eyes walking down the hallway. "Hey, who are you?" Rey asked. The girl didn't answer, Rey was confused; "Wait!" she shouted as the girl started to run. "Come back!" Rey shouted again. "Can you hear me?" She asked. The girl was standing in front of her not making a sound or moving.
As Rey walked closer, the girl disappeared, and she was then standing in front of a lightsaber. "That lightsaber was Luke's and his fathers before that. Now it calls to you." A voice said from behind her. Rey turned around startled and saw Maz, Finn and Han standing there. "I am sorry, I shouldn't have gone in there." Rey said suddenly. "I am no Jedi, but I know the force. It moves through and surrounds every living thing. Close your eyes, feel it, light it. It has always been there, it will guide you. The saber take it." Maz said handing it to Rey. "I have to get back to Jakku." Rey said pulling her hand away from the saber.
"Han told me, dear child. I see your eyes; you already know the truth. Whomever you're waiting for on Jakku, are never coming back. But someone still can." Maz explained still holding the lightsaber. "Luke?" Rey asked staring down at the lightsaber. Maz nodded and tried to hand her the lightsaber again. As Rey grabbed the lightsaber, she saw a hooded figure with yellow eyes and ignited their red lightsaber, she heard a voice but couldn't figure out what it said to her.
Another figure stood in front of her but with blue eyes just staring at her, she leaned in close and then the figure turned out to be her. Rey opened her eyes and began to breath heavily, she put the lightsaber down and looked at Maz with fear in her eyes. Maz tried to hand her the lightsaber once more, "No! I'm never touching that thing again! I don't want any part of this!" Rey shouted and ran out of the cantina. "Rey wait!" Finn yelled.
