Caleb POV

I still hadn't got the call from anyone telling me what happened to Ellie....

Anyway, in the past week talia had been ignoring me. So, I just talked to Josh and Becky, my other dorm house mates.

"So, did they call?" Becky asked fixing her smooth dark hair in a high ponytail.

"no. I'm so worried." I said. Suddenly the phone began to ring. I ran and answered it. "hello? This is Caleb speaking from camp change." I said freely.

"hey, man!" Tyler spoke in the phone.

"what's up? What happened?"

"she can see!" He said cheerfully.

"that's awesome!" I cheer and asked another question.

"is her... And- um- dash-" I stuttered.

"yeah, man. I'm sorry, bro...." tyler said. suddenly I didn't care if she was blind or not anymore. She took him away.

"I know you really like him, but they really do love each other." he said.

"whatever, Ellie and Dash are my friends.... Plus I'm into Cash now..." I mumbled.

"NOWAY! dude, your bi? That's awesome! You can come soon!" he exclaimed.

"I actually have like another month." I say gloomily.

"I gotta go, Caleb. I'm really happy for you though! See ya later, man." with that, he hung up.

"sooooo...." Becky said.

"she can see and she got together with Dash. It's okay though, because I like Cash now. And I think I'm starting the idea of Ellie being my friend." I explain.

"Well, that's good! Anyways, Josh needed to borrow some socks- yes, socks and the intercom called for you to ms. Taylor's office." she said.

"hey peoples!" Josh skated with socks in the room yelling.

"sh*t! I totally forgot my appointment with her!" I exclaim slipping on some flip flops.

"better hurry! And don't curse!" she yelled at me down the hall.

I reached ms. Taylor's office and stumbled in. She chuckled.

"forgot?" she asked with a smile.

"yes." I said sitting down. She took a deep breath.

"so, did your friends call this morning?" she questioned getting out her notepad and pen.

"actually, yeah! Tyler called saying that Ellie can see now and...." I cleared my throat. "Ellie and Dash are a couple now." I mumbled.

"how does that make you feel?" she asked.

"well, at first I threw all my anger towards Ellie, but then he said that they seem extremely happy together. So, I thought about it and I realized that if I really loved dash, then I would just want him to be happy. I'm starting to think Ellie as a good friend now. I'm happy she can see. It must feel weird to her..." I said.

"okay." she commented and wrote on her notepad. "did Tyler know that you loved Dash?"

"yeah, he knew."

"and did you tell him about your feeling about cash?" she looked me in the eyes .

"yeah." I mumble.

"What did he say?"

"he didn't say anything about it. He just started talking about how happy he is for me that I don't only just like guys."

"Does he know... about... Your real dad and... That night?" she whispered.

"NO!" bile rose in my throat. "only you and me know." I finish just above a whisper.

"well, that's good. Anything else you want to tell me or ask me or something?" she asks.

"no, I'm good. Thanks." I smile and hug her.

"well, I'm always here for you. By the way, you have a visitor. You have five minutes alone with them. If something happens, come straight to me. Got that?" she asked already knowing the answer.

"yes, mother" I rolled my eyes and she laughed.

I went to the office. The lady was typing away on her computer. After 2 minutes, she looked up.

"what?" she snapped.

"I'm Caleb. I was called for a visitor." I said.

She rolled her eyes. "that way." she spat. She pointed to a door.

I opened the door and the 5 minute timer began.

"CALEB!!!" I heard and all of a sudden Ellie was hugging me on the floor.

"hi!" I chuckled.

She got up and helped me up. She looked at me with watered eyes.

"hi." cash said on the side looking gorgeous he hair was down, she was wearing light makeup and a neon dress with heels.

She came up and hugged me snatching me from my daze. A shiver went down my spine just by her touch.

Suddenly Kay hugged me too. They all let go. "I sure have a thing with the ladies! I'm kidding." I joked laughing.

I winked to cash who's face immediately turned as red as a tomato.

"it's so nice to finally be able to see you, Caleb." Ellie said smiling.

"Tyler says hi, by the way. It was really nice to see you, but I got to go back to the car. Can't keep Tyler alone for too long." she chuckled giving me one last hug and left.

"she is totally crushing!" cash exclaimed after she left.

"definitely." Ellie agreed.

"well I'm going to go back to Kay and Tyler. Bye Caleb!" she hugged me and left.

"so... Me and Dash are together now..." she said excitedly.

"Ellie, I need to tell you something."

"sure, anything." she nodded eagerly.

"at first, I didn't like you. I was jelous that you could make Dash so d*mn happy. I wanted to be that person. That jealousy turned into hatred. Then when I came here my feelings grew for Cash. Then I grew on to the idea of you as a friend. I thought you needed to know." i said and took a deep breath.

She opened her mouth to say something, but suddenly there was the timer beep signaling 5 minutes were up. She was escorted out.
