Ellie POV
I laid on my bed, staring at darkness. It had been about 2 weeks and I had an appointment at 3:00pm for the patches to be taken off.
Since the Joseph.....passed away, things have been different. Cash took some tests and found out John made her infertile.... I felt bad, because she really wanted kids. Caleb told us the whole story and went to camp, because we encouraged him. Dash set me up with the best lawyers and was there for me while I grieved over Joseph. Kay got a modeling job with Victoria Secret. For now, she's only doing jackets, sweats, and other clothes. Tyler is.... The same. For me, of course I got fired at both jobs for missing so many shifts, but I got a new job as a part time singer at another cafe.
I pressed a button on my iPhone4 that led to Siri- oh did I mention I also got a new phone, curtesy of Dash. "what's the time?" I asked Siri.
"2:45 pm."
"call dash." I demanded.
"calling Dash." it replied.
"hey Ellie!" he answered.
"hey! It's 15 'till 3:00... Where are you?" I asked.
"I'm right outside. I was about to call you!" he chuckled.
"alright, see ya down!" I hung up.
I ran downstairs impatient and into the vehicle slamming the car door closed.
"someone's excited." he commented.
"I just can't wait!" I squealed.
We arrived to the hospital where they took me to a room. The slowly took off the tape from my skin.
I took a deep breath for the results as it could go either way. Blind or not. I felt the patch being lifted from my eyelids.
