Joseph's POV

I hung the phone up with Jensen and then dialed my man I had watching her. His phone just rang then went to voicemail. I threw my phone down on my desk. "Damn it!" I yelled. My best sniper and tracker wasn't answering his phone and now I was blind about this whole thing. I knew I should have gone myself, but after my last encounter with Lynn, I couldn't risk Jensen finding out that I was on to him. I had known from the day that I asked him to find her that he was protecting her, I just wanted to see how much he would risk for a woman he didn't even know. My relationship with him has worked just fine for both of us. His reputation for being a cold-hearted leader had made him almost as feared as I was, so it was only natural for us to work together. I had already started testing his loyalty to me when I sent some men to take his supplies. I have to say he is truly a cold-blooded killer. He took my men out and disposed of their bodies without even a second glance. I had watched him from a safe distance, but he never came to me about the situation and I knew that he had seen that it was my men.

A few days later I was in my office trying to figure out what to do. I still couldn't get a hold of the man I had sent to watch her. I was going to have to do something about this situation. Either I give Jensen the two weeks more or I go for her myself. I pulled her picture from my desk and laid my head back to think. I closed my eyes and could see her. She laid in my bed naked and covered with a sheet. Her body was perfect down to the little dimples she gets when she smiles. Her lips were pouting at me begging for me to take her and make her mine. Carter had said that she was untouched and that had made me want her even more. There was a knock at my door that made me come back to reality. "What?" The door opened and it was Lane, my second in command.

"Boss we have a problem." I sat up straight and stared at him.

"What is it?" He walked over and turned the news on. I watched as the picture of my man came across the screen. I turned the volume up and listened to the story.

"In other news. The body of a man was found in a downtown hotel room this morning. Raymond Mann was found shot to death in his hotel room. Police have no leads at the moment, but say it is an ongoing investigation."

I looked at Lane. "He was sloppy on purpose. He wanted me to know that he found my man. Get the men ready. We are going to send a message of our own. Jensen wants a war he is going to get one."

Jensen's POV

I sat up in bed as my phone started to ring. I tried not to wake the angel sleeping next to me, but she woke the minute I moved from her. "Where are you going?" I kissed her forehead.

"I'm just going to answer this. I will be back." She smiled and rolled over as I answered the phone and went out of the room. "Jacob." His voice sounded urgent as he spoke.

"Boss we found the man who was watching Lynn. He is held up at a sleazy downtown hotel. What do you want us to do?" I knew Jacob wouldn't let me down.

"Is he one of Joseph's men?" I asked.

"I believe so I will know for sure when I see the tattoo." I knew that I shouldn't do what I was about to, but I wanted King to know I was coming for him.

"Kill him and leave the body. I want it to be found." There was silence at first then Jacob agreed and hung up the phone. It was time to move. I needed to get Lynn to Rome. Once Joseph finds out his man is dead then an all-out war is going to start and I didn't want her caught in the crossfire.

I came back into the room and Lynn was already in the shower. I went to the bathroom and stripped down. I opened the curtain and stepped in behind her. I wrapped my arms around her and held her silky smooth body against mine. "What are you doing Jensen? I need to shower babe." I kissed her neck and smiled as she giggled a little.
