"Right," I reply with a wink.
We go silent for a time.
"Now what?" I ask.
Eve puffs a blonde lock away from her face and crosses her arms. "Got any more of those void cube thingies?"
"Nope. You're the one with the magic bag."
"All this thing is good for is giving me back problems," groans Eve.
I slump. "I guess we better get walking."
"I FALL!"
We look up, searching for the source of the hiss.
Eve squints. "Is that?"
"It can't be!" I reply.
Jesus gently floats down from the sky on a white parachute. VarnLiqn is clinging to his chest.
