*Lexi's POV*

*~*~*~*

Over Chemistry, I got to know the boys a little more. Blake was the more closed off type of guy, the one who doesn't show much emotion unless you get close to him. I saw how he acted around Chase and Noah, and he was much more carefree around them, compared to others.

Cough cough, me. Cough.

I should get that checked out.

But okay, maybe he doesn't hate me specifically, but whatever. I'm still hurt, on the inside of course.

Chase was his polar opposite. He was the mischievous one of the group, and also the most enthusiastic. He was all rainbows and sunshine, while Blake was darker, and gloomier.

Noah seemed to be the glue that held the three together. He resolved any arguments and helped each other laugh. Noah was probably the nicest in the group.

From all the states they were getting, I assumed they were popular. The one thing the three of them had in common were that they all had the looks. How cliche.

Alex seemed pretty far off from the other three guys, and was a transfer student. He seemed kind of nerdy, but who doesn't like that? Brains over brawn, am I right?

With a few exceptions...

When the bell rang signifying the end of class, I got up reluctantly, remembering how Noah described math class to be.

As I packed my stuff, Noah walked over to me.

"Do you need help with that?" He smiled at me, reaching down for a textbook.

"I'm fine, you can go to class, if you even go to class." I mumbled, not looking at him.

Not that I'm going to admit it, but a small part of me wanted to stay. I remember how he kept me company at the beginning of Chemistry class, and I didn't want to go through the attention thing again, let alone by myself.

"Nope, you can't get rid of me that easily," Noah said triumphantly, and I let out a small sigh of relief, which he thankfully didn't notice. "I'm stalling anyway. We're walking to class together."

"Okay, if you insist." I zipped up my bag and started to walk out the classroom, Noah immediately by my side.

I felt a lot of stares on me while walking in the halls, and I just wanted to shrink into a small rock beside Noah, so no one would bother to notice me or look at me in any way.

I walked over to the math class with Noah leading the way. I was kind of scared of the teacher after Noah's description of him.

"Just know that I'm coming to class only to keep you company, okay? Otherwise I wouldn't be here." He reminded me.

"Yeah, thanks for that." I said. "I didn't know if I could manage myself."

He gave me a small nod of understanding, and I knew he was thinking of the time I almost had a panic attack at the door of the Chemistry classroom.

We stopped at the door and I heard the bell ring. We were late, yippee. I looked into the class and saw the teacher at his desk. Damn it, why can't he just be late?

"Why are we always late?" I groaned, wanting to die right on the spot.

"Ah, about this one," he scratched his neck nervously. "I may or may not have made us late on purpose, with a few wrong turns." He looked at my appalled face. "Hey! Don't blame me! I hate this class and you know it." He complained.

I sighed as we walked up to the door.

Noah took one look at it, rolled his eyes, then swung the door open, walking in and leading the way. This time, the class didn't go completely silent. Instead there were whispers.
