Yes please." I really wanted to go, and I didn't want to be later than I already was.

We ran to the office, Noah leading the way. Blake and Chase left for their classes. Or I think the went to class.

Noah burst through the doors, making the principal jump. "Hello, Mrs. Principal." He said formally.

"It's Mrs. Brolby."

"Yeah, okay." He said casually putting his hands in his pocket. "They need their schedules." He motioned to my brothers and me, who were standing there awkwardly.

"Oh!" Mrs. Brolby said, surprised. As if she hadn't noticed us awkwardly standing there. "What are your names?"

"Jayden Summers." Jay said, taking his schedule.

"Kayden Summers." Kay got his schedule.

"Alexis Summers." The principal handed me my schedule.

As we walked out of the office, Noah looked over my shoulder at the schedule in my hands. Our close proximity was already making me nervous and I try not to move too much.

"Woah, we have the same chemistry and math class." He didn't sound too excited when he said math.

"What's wrong with math?" I actually quite liked the subject.

He groaned. "Ugh, the teacher." He whined. "Mr. Clark is actually evil, trust me." He seemed very comfortable talking to me already, and I tried not to act nervous around him. I wasn't that great at making friends.

I looked down at my schedule. "Math is second period."

We stopped at the door.

"This is the correct chemistry room?" I asked.

"Oh yeah," Noah confirmed. "Chase and Blake are in this class too." He added.

"At least there will be a couple other recognizable people?" My attempt at relief sounded more like a question. I was too nervous. I hate this much attention, especially since I'm late.

"Oh come on, I'm not all you need?" He asked, pretending to be hurt.

I laughed, pretending to think about it. "Hmm, no."

He pouted. "You hurt me right here." He pointed to his heart. "Now get ready for your first class!" He opened the door dramatically for the both of us, using jazz hands to motion at the door.

Thirty pairs of eyes were automatically on us, and I could barely move or speak. I just stared, my eyes wide.

Too many faces. Please make this go away.

Noah noticed my hesitation, and my wide eyes. He held my arm and pulled me gently along with him as we walked in.

"Noah," the teacher who was sitting at the front said sternly. "You're late."

"Sorry, Mr. White." Noah apologized. "It won't happen again."

Mr. White smiled, satisfied. "Okay then." He turned to the class, and I saw chase and Blake sitting together at the back of the class. "Everyone!" He called. "We have a new student."

Now everyone's full attention was on me. I felt my face pale, and Noah stood closer to me, in attempted comfort. All it did was make my even more nervous, and I started to sweat.

Please make this go away.

I think Mr. White saw my paled face, because he smiled in sympathy and said, "It's okay, you don't have to feel pressured. Find a seat." He showed the empty seats.

I walked slowly to an empty seat beside Chase and this other guy. Noah sat beside Blake at the edge.

"Class," Mr. White called again. "This is Alexis Summers." He gestured to me in an overly grand way, making everyone laugh. I was glad the attention was off me, and now on the teacher.

I smiled, and turned to the books that were placed on the desk.

"We will be working in groups of five for our first project." Mr. White informed, making the class cheer.

Blake sighed. "I hate work."

"Same." I grumbled under my breath, knowing he probably couldn't hear me.

Out of the corners of my eyes I saw him smile a bit, his eyes darting to mine.

"Whoever is sitting in your rows will be partnered up, because I'm too lazy to randomize it, and I already know you guys are already sitting by your friends." The chatter throughout the class rose.

I sighed in relief. "Hi." I smiled at Chase, who sat beside me, grinning with his ever so famous smile.

The guy next to me looked at me nervously. He was cute, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Although he didn't look it, I guessed he was the type of person who would prefer studying over partying. It would be nice to befriend someone like that.

"Hello." He said quietly, waving his hand awkwardly, then blushing and looking down and his hands.

Aww, that's cute.

"Hey." I said smiling, and he smiled back.

"Looks like we're a group," Chase said, looking at me, Noah, Blake and the other guy. "What's your name?" He asked, looking over to the guy beside me.

"A-alex," he replied, stuttering slightly.

"Okay, A-alex, lets get to work!" Chase said happily. "Same goes to the rest of you," he narrowed his eyes at the rest of us, "So chop chop! Work time!"
