Chapter 11

Me & Erin watched movies all night. I turned to see her dozing off. I was getting tired so I turned the tv off.

"Erin. Erin. Erin" I called her out. She was a heavy sleeper. Instead of calling her again I just went into her room to get her cover & put it over her. I got into my bed thinking about if I was starting to like this girl. I got a text from Taylor.

I took the last bit of your things you left at my house to Rell's house.12:15pm

why you doin this? everything we worked hard for you just wanna throw it away? 12:17pm

honestly K, I don't wanna be in this relationship anymore.12:19pm

why? I did everything for you. is it somebody else?12:21pm

She never replied so I knew the answer to my last text. I honestly loved Taylor, I don't know why. All she ever did was take my money. I should've listened to my ma, my ma never liked her. When I put my phone down I saw Erin in my doorway.

"can I talk to you?" she took me by surprise.

The next morning I woke up still shocked about the stuff Erin told me. She opened up to me & I opened up to her. ion usually open up to any female, I didn't even open up to Taylor the way I did with Erin last night. One specific topic that caught me was when Erin told me when she was about 12yrs old, her friend's stepdad touched her. She shed a few tears & I whipped them. After awhile of talking both of us fell asleep. I looked on the other side of my bed to see she wasn't there. A knock on my door took me outta my thoughts. Opening the white door to the house, I saw Quan. I knew it was gone be trouble.

"wassup bruh" I put my hand out for a dap, but like last time, Quan had a straight face & ignored it.

"where Erin at?"

"ion know, when I woke up she won't besi---" I almost slipped up & told Quan that Erin slept in my bed last night. I don't think he caught on, I honestly don't give a fuck if he knows or not, I'm just saving Erin from trouble.

"last time I checked, she went to the store"

Quan squinted his eyebrows as if he felt something suspicious going on. "oh aite, where her room at?"

I guided him towards her room which was down the hall, on the left, across from mine.

I went into my room & started a game of 2k12. Seconds later I hear the front door open.

"Kaaaay" I heard Erin sang through the house. "guess what I got? our favorite!" I already knew what it was, Me & Erin found out that we have our favorite food in common.

"what is it?" I heard Quan's voice come out of Erin's room.

When I came home to tell Kj that I got Chinese food. As I sat the food on the marble counter top, I heard a familiar voice. When I turned around, I saw Quan. Although I've been thinking a lot about us, I was actually happy to see him! I don't know why, but I felt butterflies in my stomache when I saw his cute face.

I ran towards him with open arms "baby! what are you doing here?"

Grinning from ear to ear, Quan picked me up off my feet returning the hug. "I just thought I'd suprise you. I was missing you too much & I just HAD to come see you."

"hard to tell, you haven't even been texting or calling me" my heart started to twist at the thought of Quan not even thinking to check up on me for four straight days.

"I just been busy trying to get my life situated. you know, findin' a job." Facing towards Quan, my eyes did a lil squint as if he was lying. I couldn't believe Quan, the one who's too lazy to even clean up spilled milk, was trying to find a job.

"so are you getting anywhere?"

"n-nah, not really." Quan struggled to get his words out. I was beginning to be curious as to why though.
I noticed K glanced at the both of us, but when he noticed me looking, he turned away. It felt kinda weird, after being in Kj's bed last night then to have Quan in the same house. Anything I do, I don't plan to tell Quan. He'd flip out. It isn't like Kj and I did anything though....
