"I still haven't found a roommate & I only have two more weeks!" I said to my friend Mialanie. Mia was a cute caramel complexion girl with shoulder length curly hair. She was kind of tall like me, around 5'8ish or 5'9. I'm 5'11 so I'm taller obviously. We've been friends since our 9th grade year. Almost every year we had a class with eachother & we played volleyball together.

"My cousin's friend needs a roommate that goes to Norfolk, maybe you should see about that" she replied hopping into her gold BMW that was given to her as a graduation gift. Mialanie always had stuff given to her on a silver platter, she had no worries at all. Her mom is a bank teller & her dad is a doctor.

I scrunched my nose up "I hope you're not talking about your cousin Karen?", "No girl! I'm talking about Trey."

"oh! I was ready to say, Karen too boojie for me & I know she got some boojie ass friends....woooah wait..." I paused "I hope his "friend" is a girl!"

"eh, it's a dude" Mia said in a concerned tone.

"oh no no no noooo, you know Quan isn't gonna be okay with me living with a nigga"

"so! fuck him" Mia & my boyfriend didn't really get along ever since I came crying to her about him cheating on me. Plus she consider him as a "no good ass nigga". Most people would say I was dumb to go back to him after he cheated on me, but it isn't easy just letting go of someone who you spent so much time with & loved so much. Besides, he & the girl didn't fuck, so I accepted his apology & we moved on from it. Ever since then, we've been doing good for the most part.

As Mia pulled up into CookOut drive thru, she sighed "I'll text Trey for his number anyway"

I just went with it, knowing I wouldn't use the number "alright, whatever". "you getting me something?"I asked Mia playfully.

"hell no bitch! I only got $3 to my name after all that shopping we just did!"

"you ain't real hoe! I was just playing anyway, I got my own mula". Mia & I always played like that, we were just that close.
