"Get in the car loser, we're going shopping." Grayson smirked as he lowered the black jeep's window and stuck his head out.
I walked over to the jeep, climbing in on the passenger side. "Mean Girls reference?"
"Duh, I wouldn't take you shopping for an adventure, that's lame." He laughed lightly as he put the car in reverse, backing out of Dallas' driveway.
"Well that's good, because there's way too many people at malls. I don't think I'm ready for that much social interaction."
"I know." He nodded his head. "Anyways, where's Dallas?"
"He went out with a couple friends"
"Oh, that's cool"
"Where are you taking me?"
"Should I hit you with a good, old 'it's a surprise'?" He smirked before a mischievous smile spread across his face.
"No." I simply replied. Grayson's face instantly went straight.
"We're going to a creek."
. . .
"Why did you bring towels?" I asked as I furrowed my brows and watched Grayson grab towels from the back seat. "Don't tell me we're--""Going to swim? Hell yeah we are!" he cheered."No. I don't have a bathing suit on me.""So? Neither do I""I'm not going to skinny dip with you. Are you crazy?""I am. But, obviously we're not going to freaking skinny dip. Just go in your underwear, it's not very different then a swimsuit." He stepped out of the car."What if I'm not wearing underwear?" I asked as cocked an eyebrow, stepping out as well.
"You're not?" his jaw slightly dropped and eyebrows furrowed.
"Well, I am. But still. No. I'm not going in."
"You're not comfortable with the idea?" he asked in a serious tone."I'm not."
He said, "Okay, fine. We'll hike instead. But wear your bathing suit tomorrow, I'm not giving up on the creek," before dropping the towels off in the car.
"Thank you..."
"No problem. I want to make you happy not make you uncomfortable." He smiled sweetly. "C'mon, I want to show you something. But we have to hike to it."
. . .
"Alright, it's just right up here." He climbed up onto a ledge that was about two feet above the surface. "Here." He held his hand out for me.
I grabbed his hand as he helped me up. I looked around for a meadow. Light purple flowers scattered throughout. The sun beamed out of the woods surrounding the meadow.
"Shit" I gasped.
"I know. It's pretty right?"
"I feel like I'm in that meadow from Twighlight... When are you going to start sparkling?"
He chuckled lightly. "Really? That's the first thing you think about?""I know, I know. I should be mortified. Obviously The Vampire Diaries is the only vampire shit I should make references to." I replied, being completely sarcastic yet dead (a/n Ha! Get it cause vampires are--) serious.
"You're one special snow flake." Grayson chuckled before sitting down in the long grass.
"I'm a special one, aren't I?" I commented, as I sat down next to him.
"The most special"
"Above all"
"Special."
He laughed lightly as I just shook my head.
