You suddenly forgot about your hangover as you eavesdropped your parents' discussion.
"You guys are making me do what?" You finally stepped in.
"Nothing." Your mom lied as your dad proceeded to yell out, "Marry."
You sighed and couldn't believe what you were hearing. "You're telling me that you expect me to marry a complete STRANGER? I bet you don't even have a clue about who this man is. This is just a prank right?" You said, stressed.
Your dad took your hand and offered you to sit down and talk. You looked down to see a bunch of unorganized paperwork all over the table. Looking closer, you saw documents of your parents' company along with someone else's.
"Honey, our company is in huge trouble and they promised to support and side with us. All they ask for is a bride for their son. And we specifically chose you because this marriage can benefit you too. You have no interest in anything and you're always out somewhere hanging with random people. You keep doing stupid stuff and we have to cover up your accidents so rumors don't get out. I mean it's not like you have anything better to do than lying around. Besides that, you would have a husband who can support you and you won't have to keep living off your parents. Start a new and better life y/n." Your dad explained but it sounded more like a rant in your mind.
His words riled you up but at the same time you couldn't argue back. Everything he said was true and you knew it deep down but you didn't want to accept it.
Being the only child was tough. You live up to your parents expectations and compete between other family's daughters/sons. At one point, you've had enough and started doing whatever wanted to do. That's the reason why you're acting the way you are now but they don't understand.
"I hate to break it to you but you should be done with your little games already. You're an adult and you need to take this situation in an adult manner. You must agree with this marriage." Your mom said as she went up to hold your hands.
"Okay I get it, can you guys please not corner me. I'm going to excuse myself for a minute, I need to go get some fresh air right now and just think." You said as you picked up your phone to text someone. Right now it's Jungkook who you want to talk to.

"I don't know how to cope with this like, this situation and everything. How do people who go through this actually get through this. Kooks, I'm being forced to-" You trembled until you were shut down by a warm kiss. The taste of his lips gave you a tingle down your spine and you felt butterflies in your stomach.
Startled, you pushed him away. "Jungkook what are you doing?" You stuttered.
"I had to do it while I had the courage. Plus, you're calm now right?" He answered, until he realized he made a mistake.
You gulped and acted like it never happened because you already had so much on your plate to worry about. After a moment of silence Jungkook decided to apologize.
"I just felt like um, well." He started.
You could do nothing but laugh at the situation. "It's fine, let's just forget about it and don't do that again or next time I swear I'll be more than happy to cut your lips." You joked.
Shocked, Jungkook covered his lips with his hands. "Is that a threat? I'm calling the police." He played along.
Your mood lit up as long as it lasted until you received a text from your parents.
