Your house was like how a high school would sound after students left the campus. It was intensely quiet that you'd be able to hear a paper clip drop. Not to mention the sad aura it was giving off. No laughter. No smiles. No colors.

You both should be happy newlyweds but it turned out completely opposite. Everyone would expect you two to sleep in the same room but behind their backs you guys made sure to sleep separately in two rooms.

Stretching your arms and legs out, you glanced at the time which read 6:00 on the dot. It was already time for you to get up and ready for work. You slowly crawled out of bed and began your morning routine. Due to the silence, you were convinced that Taehyung had already gone to work as he was nowhere to be found.

As you placed the finishing touches to your makeup you wondered what position your parents gave you in the company. You shrugged it off as you were sure they wouldn't give you anything difficult. You walked out to see Taehyung sitting on the couch.

"Uh, I thought you were already at work. What are you doing here?" You asked, confused.

"What do you think I'm doing? My parents are expecting me to drive you to work because you're my wife and plus you'll be working as my secretary."

As the sentence you'll be working as my secretary flew out his mouth, you were in disbelief. Immediately you texted your parents asking what this situation was about.

You: why is taehyung saying that i'll be working as his secretary??

Mom: It's only a small task y/n. You're his wife and working at their company together with them is a plus!

Dad: Exactly! You get to stay together with your husband and work with him, isn't that great? Don't worry about our company, your mom and I have everything covered here.

You: i hate this. bye

You got in his car and he noticed a frown on your face as he began driving.

"Stop acting as if you're the only person who hates this situation y/n, this is a matter of business so take care of your personal emotions professionally. I don't need my secretary to be distracted at work because of some mere issue."

You rolled your eyes but at the same time you felt like what he said was right. You shouldn't let this get in they way of work. If you're his secretary then you'll have to do your best to be like one.

As you both arrived at the company, the employees greeted you and Taehyung respectfully.

Instead of telling you what to do, Taehyung went into his office and closed the door in your face. You stood there for a few minutes in confusion. Is he not going to tell you what to do? No instructions? Anything?

Suddenly you felt a slight tap on your shoulder. You turned around to see a tall yet handsome male. "Hi my name is Hoseok. I believe you're the new secretary?" He politely asked.

"Y-yes. That's me."

He smiled. "Well Mrs. Kim, all your belongings and paper work are on your desk. I came here to bring you our CEO's fresh schedule. If you need anything, us employees would be glad to help." With that, he proceeded to go back to work.

You went to your desk which was in front of Taehyungs office. Paperwork neatly stacked on the plain and ordinary desk. You slightly peeked in Taehyungs office and saw that he had already started to work. With this opportunity, you decided to take a look around the company to feel the vibe, get to know the employees, and learn more about what you can do as a secretary.

You continued to wander around until you found the employee space. "Is there something you need Mrs. Kim?" A voice from behind asked. "I'm Park Jimin, it's very nice to finally meet you."

"Do you know me?" You asked.

"Who wouldn't? it's been all over the company that you're our CEO's wife and that you'll be working here. I didn't expect you to actually be working here but-" He explained until someone interrupted him.

"Jimin where are you manners. Hi I'm Jin, you can see us as your friends because we're Taehyungs friends. Just feel comfortable with us and we'll make you right at home."

"Manners? Jin you're literally showing no manners." Jimin snapped.

You laughed. "Thank you. I'll keep that in mind but I'm just trying to know how to do my job. You see I've never worked as a secretary to anyone my whole life-"

"Y/n." Taehyung interrupted. "I believe it's time for my meeting. Get your stuff ready and once I arrive, wait for me outside the conference doors." He instructed.

"Yes, sir." You answered, walking back to you desk to gather the materials and the clipboard given to you by Hoseok.

"Your meeting is with Mr. Wildenson and he's here to talk about..." You began to inform him as you quickly follows behind with your heels clicking on the floor. "After that, you'll head towards an orphanage. I'll be waiting here then." You finished.

The meeting took longer than you expected which resulted in your feet getting blisters and cuts from you heels. With Taehyungs fast walking speed, you couldn't hold in the pain any longer.

"Could you please slow down? I mean my feet hurt and I would like it if you were a bit considerate and wouldn't walk so fast." You cried out.

"Do you think I care? This is your job and you can't even keep up with me?" He turned around.

"Try harder. Having a job at my company doesn't mean you can slack off so do your job correctly." He scoffed.

This gave you a lump in your throat and almost brought tears to your eyes. How much more of a monster is he? He left you limping, as you try your best to catch up with him. This wasn't exactly the kind of position you'd expect to be in. Now that you work for him, he could care less because you're just a mere secretary. He despises you and you could see it through his actions.

"God I swear I hate you with a passion." You mumble under your breath as you clench your teeth and hold in the pain.
