Weak (Roman)

Roman sat in imagination, alone. He looked at the song he wrote. He started singing.

"Every time I look around I see

The pain that they can't see in me

I try to turn around so I can yell

Why can't you tell!"

Roman sang with so much power, he started to cry. He didn't realise the other sides were all watching in shock.

"No, that's absurd, I can't do that

I'll be in the same spot that I'm at

All this pressure makes me want to scream

But, to do that I would seem....."

Logan felt himself feel guilty. Patton was crying, a lot. Virgil was in too much shock. How didn't he know? Roman continued, tears streaming from his brown eyes, weakness showing within him.

"Weak!

I can't show them that I'm weak

I can't show how I'm weak

I can't show how much I hate life

Cause that would only cause strife."

Patton was sobbing, wishing he had been there for Roman. Logan was next to start crying. He wished he could help his fellow side. Virgil watched, wanting to hear more. He wanted to help Roman through all this pain.

"I mean,

Why can't they tell how I talk

Isn't the same way that I walk

I never seem to want to cross the line

And I never claim what is mine.

Cause then I will seem....."

Logan had never noticed but he saw it now. Logan himself felt weak now, as he continued crying. Patton was sobbing too hard to say anything. Virgil finally felt tears slip down. Roman continued singing, still not seeing the others.

"Weak.

I can't show them that I'm weak

I can't show how I'm weak

I can't show how much I hate life

Cause that would only cause strife.

Why....why can't I show my true colours.

Why can't I show my scars.

Why can't I show that I'm afraid,

Afraid of who I am

No.....that's too"

Virgil gasped, covering his mouth. Patton clung to Logan as he sobbed. Logan was sobbing too now. "Ro," he managed. Roman looked over but continued singing. He couldn't stop now!

"Weak.

I can't show them that I'm weak

I can't show how I'm weak

I can't show how much I hate life

Cause that would only cause strife.

Cause I'll seem so,

Weak.

I can't show them that I'm weak

Cause that would only cause strife."

Roman finished, sobbing after. Virgil grabbed Roman and dragged him to Logan and Patton. Logan managed to calm himself down, hugging Roman. "You are not weak," he stated.

Patton joined, sobbing still. Virgil joined the group hug after. "You are just as important as us, and we will help you through this," Virgil confirms.

Roman was shocked but let the others hug him. "Thank you," he whispered.

The four left and returned to their house in the mindscape, three ready to help their fourth member.
