My love story might not be the most exciting or the most romantic but it's real and by no means came easy. I fought and endured for it. The typical and cliché verse for love in the Christian context is 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails NIV. A lot to swallow isn't it? I never truly understood this verse until it was put to the test in my life with my best friend and the one my heart loves that we'll call Jonah for confidentiality purposes for the duration of the story. So let's jump in.
