We traveled to our destination through the night, so once we were awake, we could explore.

They were preforming at this really adorable venue, and it was at the end of shops and restaurants. I was up before the rest, again. I grabbed a pretty boring outfit and went to change. I  let my hair kinda fall over the left side of my face, and threw on some leggings and this super cool Sylar black cassette hoodie. I did some light makeup and brushed my teeth then exited the bathroom. I slipped on my white Vans high tops that said 'VANS' in huge block letters on the back. I grabbed my wallet and my glasses and headed to the front of the bus. I wrote 'Went around the plaza -Mar' on the white board and exited the bus without a sound.

It was pretty warm but still was a bit frigid, mentally thanking myself for the outfit I wore. I headed down the sidewalk and passed a lot of the shops. I checked the time, 9:30am. I decided I would go and get some coffee at the local Starbucks. I got my order and also got a breakfast sandwich. I continued to walk around the plaza and found this cute little store. I was about to walk in and my phone rang.

"Hello?" I asked.

"How could you!" I heard a whining Awsten. He was always whining around me.

"What?" I asked again, confused at what he was hinting at.

"Okay well I'm mad you didn't invite me on your outing but now I see you so just wait for me." He responded, and hung up. I turned around and saw the purple haired boy walking towards me. I waved and he waved back. I decided I would come back to the shop so I continued walking with him.

"So..." I didn't really know what to say as we walked. It was silent for a couple seconds as we walked. We stopped at a crosswalk, but cars were passing so we waited. I was looking down but I could see him looking at me. He was smiling.

"What?" I questioned, smiling.

"You're really beautiful, I hope you know that." He said quietly. I looked down again, slightly blushing.

"I'm really not, but okay." I responded, shrugging. My hands were in my sweatshirt pocket and I felt Awsten loop his arm with mine as we crossed the street. It was the little things that really made me smile.

After our outing we went back to the bus, to find everyone awake.

"There they are! Jeez what were you guys doing?" Geoff asked. Otto raised an eyebrow and I rolled my eyes.

"No." I told him. But he nodded. I shook my head and rolled my eyes once more and walked over to grab my laptop. I sat and edited photos for awhile, and when it was time to go to the venue I grabbed my camera.

We were in their early, but that was fine. They had some really cool guitars displayed, and I just stared at them. I also took pictures as they were beautiful. I heard Awsten talking about how his guitar sounded weird, and I walked over to the conversation, but a distance away. I heard some suggestions but I said something, that I guess was too loud.

"Or maybe not," They all looked at me, causing my face to go red. Awsten raised an eyebrow and softly smirked at me. I walked up to him and strummed some of the strings and found the issue. I turned the tuning peg, and strummed it again.

"So you play?" Geoff asked. I nodded.

"Kinda. I also can sing but not very well. My family was very musical." I said. I shortly after was shoved a guitar.

"Well, go on." Awsten said.

"I don't know," I started.

"Oh come on!!" Otto replied. I sighed, and started to think of a song. I chose 'December by Neck Deep' because I loved the band and just that song, it brought back some of the best and worst times.

I started strumming and I sang the opening verse, and took a breath before the chorus.

I hope you get your ball room floor
Your perfect house with rose red doors
I'm the last thing you'd remember
It's been a long lonely December
I wish I'd known that less is more
But I was passed out on the floor
That's the last thing I remember
It's been a long lonely December

I continued on, and before I knew it I was at the part that always hit me. I've somehow learned to  sing through the tears throughout the many years of singing, but I was hoping I would be stable enough.

I miss your face
You're in my head
There's so many things that I should have said
A year of suffering, a lesson learned                                                                                                                                      A year of suffering, a lesson learned

'Then one more chorus and I was done' I thought.

I finished the last of the song and took a breath. I wiped the faint tears, and turned to the guys. They looked, what's the word, starstruck? I thought I sounded awful but apparently not.

"Holy shit!" Otto yelled. He ran over to me and gave me a high five and I smiled.

"That was sick!" Geoff also yelled, running up to me.

Awsten just smiled from a far, and winked at me. I practically melted.
