Chapter 14

Everyone else was outside of the room, but we stayed put. I honestly don't know how we fit onto the hospital bed, but I was almost on top of him so I guess that works. He was lying on the small bed facing me but his body was flat, my head on his chest. He was running his hand through my hair and I could fall asleep, but that wasn't happening right now. 

"I thought you had a show?" I asked. 

"Well, we worked some things out. This show and the show that's in 2 days are being combined. I am not leaving you." He said softly. His other hand was rubbing circles on arm, that was also on his chest. I nodded.

"Can we talk real for a minute?" He asked. I tensed mentally, but it passed. I was safe. I nodded again.

"Did I do something? Why did you leave me last night?" I almost laughed. I looked up.

"I left because... something happened. I couldn't live with myself, at least I thought. I didn't have anything in me, so I passed out on the curb. Did you find me?" I asked. He shook his head.

"Lucas did. He was going back early and immediately called me. I was looking around for you." I nodded.

"Anyways, when I woke up I literally couldn't bare it. I didn't even know I packed,"

"Your collection?" He interrupted. I looked down.

"Yea," I sighed. "So once I found it, it was meant to be in my mind. I didn't realize how bad it was though." I wiped the tears that were forming.

"But I've got you." He whispered. I looked up, and for some reason, it made sense. Our lips collided, softy though. Not that rough crap. It was cute. I know that because I heard 'awes' from the boys outside. Awsten flipped them off and I smiled. 

*Time skip lol*

I woke up alone, sadly. But I was half asleep when I was told I could leave. They made Awsten leave last night and he came back as early as he could. He gave me a piggyback ride all the way to the corner where we had to cross to get to the bus. He put me down and held out his hand for me to hold. We crossed, and I entered the bus with cheers. Yes, the bus was excited to see me. I smiled at them all and grabbed clothes to change into. I went into the bathroom, but all the buys were alert. I took off the sweatpants first and saw my bandages were pretty soaked threw. I didn't care to put the pants back on as the sweatshirt was huge. 

"Uh medic?" I called out, and they all turned their heads, then exchanged glances. Geoff got up and walked down the hall and grabbed the gauze from under the sink. 

"Do you want to shower first?" He asked. I sighed and nodded, and he left. 

"Awsten?" I yelled. He got there so fast I was almost terrified.

"Uh weird question, but I can't really uh, face what I did yet but I need to shower so..." He immediately nodded.

"So how do you wanna do this?" He asked, clearly unsure. I shrugged.

I turned the water on and took of Awsten's sweatshirt. He tried to avoid looking at me.

"Aws. You can look at me. You basically saw me naked when I was lying on the floor in here, now you get to actually get to see me naked, I guess." I laughed. He laughed. He undid the gauze, and I tried not to look. I just couldn't. I took a deep breath and stripped the rest off and made too many jokes trying to make us both less uncomfortable. He helped me wash my hair and places where I could see what I did. He handed me a towel and I wrapped it around me. I sat on the toilet looking up, as he wrapped my thighs and wrists. 

"All done." He said, using his hand to lower my gaze to meet his. He was kneeling in front of me, and we were almost the same height. I looked at his lips and back to his eyes. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him close and kissed him. It turned from friendly to friendly. I wrapped my legs around his waist and he stood up, taking me with him. He held onto me and he put me lightly against the wall, and I broke. i jumped down and looked away. 

"What? What'd I do?" He said, reeking of concern.

"Nothing, it's just, nothing. It's not you I swear."
