Conrad was practically dragging Slivko. However, the inner doctor of Danielle had Conrad stop walking to check on him.
They were far from the skull crawlers death trap. The military men stopped as well as Danielle was inspecting Slivko. She had Conrad lower him down onto the ground, she opened her bag and looked at his body, visibly nothing.
She touched his leg, and he winced. So she rolled up his leg revealed a small slash on his leg, might've come from the explosion, hitting his leg off a bone in the death trap.
Danielle reached into her bag and pulled out bandages, water, and tape. She poured some water on it and then Slivko winced.
"What are you doing?" Packard asks.
"Cleaning the damn wound," She said, "The best to my ability with what resources I have."
Then after letting it air out for a moment, Danielle began to wrap the wound with the bandaging. She taped it to keep the bandaging from loosening. Conrad offered a hand and Slivko took it as he was helped up, Danielle began to put her medical stuff back in her bed.
Hank turns to Packard, "Now look, Colonel. You may out rank me, but I've been here a hell a lot longer, and I'm telling you that thing we just dealt with was only one of them. Now we're on their turf. And we need to turn back!" Hank yells.
"Not as long as Chapman is still out there." Packard said.
Conrad frowns, "I'm sorry, Colonel Packard." He revealed the dog tags, "Chapman is dead."
"Nothing changes then!" Packard yells, "We're still going to that crash site."
Danielle stands and looked at Packard, "What's at the crash sit worth getting? What do you want so badly?" She asks.
"Weapons!" Packard yells, "Enough to kill it!"
"Kong didn't kill Chapman." Conrad said.
"But it did kill these men!" Packard revealed a lot of dog tags, "My men!"
Hank shakes his head, "You can't kill Kong, Colonel. Kong is God on this island. It's the only thing keeping that lizard things understand." He said.
Houston nods, "He's right, Colonel. We can't kill Kong. And that other creature? That's the threat. And there are more of them down here. If you take away that species' natural competition they will proliferate out of control." He said.
"Then we'll end them down!" Packard said, "After we bring this thing down."
Hank pulls his katana out of its sheath, "I can't allow you to do that."
The soldiers all lifted their weapons at Hank, only to which Packard used his butt of his rifle to hit Hank in the stomach. This caused the old war hero to collapse onto the ground.
"This is one war we will not loose." Packard said.
"You're nuts! You hear me!" Hank yells.
San then steps forward, "Please! You need to listen to us."
