I woke up to feeling someone kiss me. Knowing it was Ron, I kissed back. I opened my eyes with a smile and saw Ron above me. He was frowning.
"What's wrong?", I asked.
"We lost a comrade.", Ron said.
"No. Who?", I asked.
"Jazz.", Ron answered sadly.
Jazz and I were really close.
"What happened?", I asked.
"Jazz was visiting the base in California. They were ambushed. The Decepticons killed everyone inside. Optimus found Jazz's sword and blaster but nothing else.", Ron said.
I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him close as I cried. I hugged him tighter as I felt my shirt getting slightly wet. Ironhide never cried. He, Jazz, and I were really close once I returned home with Lisa two and a half....three months after I met Ironhide in his true form.
Remember when I got captured and tortured by that idiot Patrick and Megatron? Jazz, Optimus, and Ironhide were the ones that devised the plan that saved my life. Ironhide was unable to go to save me because he was needed elsewhere. However, he was home to see me arrive. I remember it like it was yesterday.
I woke up, dizzy. My mind was spinning so fast, I felt like I was going to vomit. As I held my head, I looked around. I was alone. No one else was here. Then I saw him. Optimus. He was asleep in a chair next to me. Only, he wasn't human. He was in his alien form. I sat up and looked down. I was on a human bed that was on a GIANT bed. I'm not talking 12 feet in the air. I'm talking 30 feet. Like I move, I die kind of high. Maybe smaller but still.....it's high up.
Three chairs sat next to me. One of them had a military jacket on it. Another had a little stuffed bear sitting on the chair and a leather jacket draped over the back. The third one had a familiar purse on it. I moved to sit at the edge of the bed and tensed when the bed squeaked. My head shot over to Optimus. My eyes widen as his eyes open. I did not want to wake him. My brother's gone through enough already.
The door opened and I looked toward it. Ratchet walked in with Ironhide, Dad, Anna, and Mom right behind him.
"So, when is she going to wake up?", Ironhide asked as Annabel looked toward me.
"Did the blood transfusion work?", Dad asked.
Anna ran toward me, a grin on her face. She disappeared as she went to the side of the bed. About a minute later, she appeared on the bed.
"The transfusion did work, however, I don't know if her body accepted it. If she wakes up, we'll know. If she doesn't, we have to drain it or she will end up in another coma.", Ratchet said, "Or...."
"She could die. So, basically, what you're saying is that if she doesn't wake up, she's as good as gone and that if she does it'll be a miracle?", Dad asked.
"Somewhat, yes.", Ratchet said.
"What's the chance?", Dad asked.
Ratchet sighed sadly, "99 to 1."
"Oh, god.", Mom covered her mouth and cried, "So, it's a pretty slim chance that we'll ever see our baby again?"
"I'm sorry.", Ratchet said.
Annabel ran over and hugged me carefully. I smiled and hugged her back. I watched as Optimus' eyes opened. He saw me then looked over to the others.
"Prank?", I asked him, he debated but eventually agreed, "Okay, can you activate your holoform so that when I move, they won't hear it?"
