I stood wide-eyed. The base had a lot of new bots. One was mostly red and had a white line on it's arm like a heart beat. The bot had a face like Ratchet's though it looked more intimidating. A smaller bot was clinging onto the taller one like it would die if it let go. The smaller bot was mostly white with a bit of green here and there and had a red line on her arm like Ratchet's.
A third bot was mostly green. It had a green cloak and goggles. Half of the goggles was blue, the other half red. He looks like a smart bot. . . Sort of.
. . . Okay so it wasn't a whole lot of new bots.
"Where's Ratchet?", I asked, taking note that the small bot that clung to the taller bot looked at me.
"Med bay. Won't come out until he sees you.", Ironhide answered after transforming.
"What does my brother need now?", I huffed, "Probably wants to do a check up to make sure my undercover op didn't screw up my systems or something."
"Said he had to talk to you about something important.", Ironhide said.
"Weird. Something must be bothering him if he wants to talk to me of all bots.", I said in thought, "Well, see you in a few."
I swear if he's got something planned that is going to scare the scrap out of me, I'm going to punch the life outta him.
"And don't fight with him!", Ironhide called out.
"Wasn't planning on it.", I grinned.
"Uh-huh. Sure you weren't.", Ironhide said, rolling his optics with a smile.
I laughed, "Love you too, Hun."
I made my way to the med bay and walked inside. The lights were off, which was weird to me. Then I saw it. I gasped and ran toward the bot who sat on the floor, optics barely open, and Energon all over.
"What the hell?!", I growled, "Ratchet, you can't do this to yourself!"
I pulled the necklace I had placed in my pocket before Ironhide transformed out and set it around my neck. I transformed into an Autobot and kicked the Energon cube far from Ratchet's grasp. I picked him up and, with a little bit of a struggle, put him on a berth.
"I can't believe this!", I growled, "I'm gone for 6 and a half months and this is what you do?! Ratchet, you're so stupid sometimes!"
I picked up all the empty Energon cubes and set them in the recycling to be brought to the Autobot-sized sink to be washed properly. I then grabbed a mop that was tall enough for me to use and started moping all the Energon off the floor. I finished a short time after I started.
I heard a groan and pulled out a light from one of the many drawers Ratchet has.
Ratchet sat up as I walked over to him. I shined the light in his eyes and watched as his pupils reacted.
"Are you sober enough to explain yourself?", I asked him.
"I had a few drinks while I waited for you, no big deal.", Ratchet said.
"Yes, big deal!", I said and pushed him back when he tried to get off the berth, "You had 20! You're lucky Optimus wasn't the one who caught you. Now rest. We'll talk when you're sober."
I left the med bay, slamming the door behind me. I sighed and made my way back to the main hanger.
"What'd he need?", Ironhide asked.
"Don't know but if anyone else does something stupid, I'm going to blow a fuse.", I growl.
"What did Ratchet do that was so stupid?", Ironhide asked.
"Got drunk. So, now, I have to take over the med bay until he's conscious and sober.", I stated.
"Wow. Ratchet's never drank before.", Ironhide said.
I started to think and Ironhide was right. Everytime someone would ask Ratchet to join them for high grade, he'd deny.
"Ratchet, what's going on?", I asked.
"He's been poisoned!", Ratchet exclaimed as he worked on Bee.
"Poisoned?!", I gasped, "Can you flush it out?"
"The only way I know how is to consume High grade. And a lot of it.", Ratchet stated.
"Why high grade?", I asked.
"High grade is a strong form of Energon. It's like your alcohol. Too much of it causes you to purge, which is the only way to flush out this poison as it stays with whichever Energon is more dominant in it's host.", Ratchet explained.
"Of course!", I stated loudly, causing the crowd that had gathered around me to jump, "I know what happened!"
I ran to Ratchet and watched as he slowly woke up.
"Come back to yell some more?", Ratchet asked and held his head.
"No. I was wrong. You were poisoned, weren't you?", I asked.
Ratchet nodded, "I went out on a mission with Jazz and the twins."
"With Jazz?", I questioned, "Who's dead."
"Now who told you that?", The familiar voice asked.
I looked up and saw Jazz in the doorway.
"Ironhide got word from Optimus.", I stated.
"I was with the 'cons. 'Scaped about a month and a half ago.", Jazz corrected.
"While everyone was out hunting for Energon.", I sighed, "Well, we have some new bots. You think you're sober enough to walk on your own and talk without sounding drunk?"
Ratchet looked at me and within seconds, we found ourselves walking to the main hanger. I was helping Ratchet keep steady as his balance was just a little off. When we arrived, everyone was looking at us. I spotted the small bot run over to Ratchet and hug him tightly.
"Sunburst? What are you-", Ratchet cut himself off as the taller bot that Sunburst was clinging to walked over, "C-carrier?"
I heard a loud Bang! and looked over at the door where everyone else's gazes were.
"Scrap! Ironhide!", I yelled, "You good?"
"Yeah, go.", Ratchet shooed me off and I ran toward Ironhide.
"Someone grab me a bucket of ice cold water!", I yelled.
Within a minute, someone had given me a bucket of freezing cold water. I muttered a small thanks to them and stood up. Smirking, I dumped the bucket onto Ironhide's head and tossed said bucket to Sideswipe.
"Who did that?!", Ironhide growled.
"I did. You glitched.", I said and smiled, "It was fun, too."
"You're going to pay for that, Edih.", Ironhide growled and lifted me up when he was on his feet.
"Ironhide, let me go!", I groaned, "Optimus, if I'm not back by tomorrow morning, I probably can't walk!"
The entire room erupted in laughter as Ironhide carried me to our room.
