A car stopped with a screeching sound and a girl wearing shorts and a tank top stepped out the car with an umbrella in her hands. She ran towards the only figure which was sitting frozen on the marble floor facing the sea.

"Oh my god Vrushika! What are you up to haan?" she came near her and shouted. "And where is your damn phone?" Sam added. Vrushika said nothing. She didn't even care to look at her. She was simply sitting like a lifeless body. Her face was stiff as rock. Sam put her hands on her shoulders in order to shake her and bring her back to reality. As she touched her she felt her hand burn. Vrushika's body temperature was high. Sam panicked seeing her condition and in no moment she pulls her up and took her towards the car. She took all her belongings with her too.

The ride was going on the silent note when Sam felt something heavy hit on her shoulder and as she turned to see it was Vrushika who has gone unconscious. She started to worry about her and instantly searched for the nearest hospital and took her there.

Doctor examined her and suggested Sam to let her be under observation tonight and gave her the list of medicines required. Vrushika was still unconscious. Sam checked on her once and left to bring the medicines from the medical store.

She took out her phone from the back and tried to switch it on but it didn't open. The phone was gone because of the rain and water which got in it. She called Vrushika's parents to let them know that she is with her and they can board their flight without any tension.

After purchasing the medicine Sam went back to her room. She touched her forehead to check whether she still has fever or not and not too much of her surprises her forehead was still burning and she was lying on the hospital bed like a lifeless body.

The whole room was filled with silence except the sounds which were coming out of the machines which were connected to Vrushika to monitor her. Sam sat on the sofa which was there in the room. She was continuously looking at her and cursed the moment when she let her do of which the result is this, lying in-front of her.

He was driving the car at a moderate speed. He cannot go home with such a mood as he didn't want his mother anyone to sense his current situation. Moreover he needed time to process everything that happened couple of hours ago. Those thoughts were not leaving his mind for even a second. As much as he thought about them, they made him more and more angry and helpless.

As he was driving and was not even half way near to his home it started raining. That rain was sudden. It was unexpected to see clouds pour water down in this month. But has every time, everything happened to his expectations? No. he smiled a tragic smile on his situation and continued driving.

He stopped at the signal and saw tapri nearby which had a name "Maggie point" written on it. Maggie reminded him of her and craziness for Maggie. He smiled remembering all those memories but soon the realization dawned upon him. He hit his car steering wheel in annoyance and spoke "why Vrushika why?" Signal turned green and he heard the honking vehicles from behind and moved. He passed over that point which refreshed all the memory which he wanted to forget.

He reached his house it was 1 in the morning by the time he reached and thought everyone must have slept by now. He opened the door without making much noise and started moving towards his room as soon as he reached in.

He was walking towards his room when he heard "Shantanu" someone called from behind. He turned to see his mother standing behind. He could see how much sleepy his mum was he felt bad as she was still up because of him. He went near to her and said "ji maa. Aap abhi tak soye nai?" he asked her. Her mother did not reply to him instead she said "chal khana kha le. Maine fir se garam kar dia hai." He tried to argue that he doesn't want to eat.. he is not hungry but decided opposite.

He went behind her towards the table where the food was. He ate the food without saying a word and in mere 10 minutes his food was finished and he stood up to put his plates in the sink and came back to bid his mother goodnight "good night maa" he said. His mother noticed his bandaged hand and the uneasiness which was constantly irritating him. "Shantanu change kar ke bahar aao mai tumhare baal mein tel laga deti hoon. Aaram milega tumhe fir." He smiled at his mother caring nature and said "aata hoon."

Since the encounter which he and Vrushika had this was the only thing which provided comfort right now. He changed and came outside and sat in the balcony area on the floor. He looked outside at the heavy pouring water while his mother applied oil on his hair. After the champi was done he climbed on the sofa and lay down with his head on her mother's lap. She stroked his hair and soon he fell in the deep slumber.

About the chapter well the length may differ from chapter to chapter as I want to put whatever is necessary than talking rubbish.. even though I am sure I may have been talking much rubbish already..   *LOL*

Lastly, do vote and comment and give suggestions if you feel that this may mold story in a better way.. I will keep that in my mind and see whether it is fit with what I have thought.
