I came out of her room the moment she indirectly asked me to. My vision was blurry because of the tears which whelmed in my eyes due to her harsh words. It definitely hurt me. I was not use to such type of behavior from her. All this was choking me and I needed some air.

As soon as I came into the balcony and shut the door behind, I let my tears pour down. It relaxed me, comforted me. I never thought to let tears flow can actually calm the storm that was developing inside me.

But why am I crying? Why are her words hurting me this much? Wasn't it me who wanted her to stop the chant and leave me alone? Wasn't it me who asked her to get lost when she confessed her love to me? Wasn't it me who wanted her miles away?

Oh God! Why is this happening with me? I exhaled in frustration. I was having a list of endless questions inside my mind and was popping in-front of my eyes at regular intervals. I closed my eyes and that worst night of my life replayed. Why? Why Vrushika? Why did you have to ruin everything by saying that you love me? I was getting more frustrated.

If you have anything to convey to me please don't bother to come here yourself ask Sam she will convey. I don't want you to feel forced or anything. Why are her words hurting me so much? She is right I shouldn't be coming up to her when I myself ask her to go away.

I stood there in the balcony for some time thinking about how our lives have changed after that two-day back event. A small memory from past popped into my mind.

It was one of those days' memories when she has fallen sick again and I have come down to visit her. Although she was sick and was supposed to be bedridden here she was running behind Bhumil for her chocolates and demanding him to make Maggie for her.

The moment they both saw me Bhumil came running and asked me to rescue him from the web of her elder sister. He told me about her ardent want of her two favorites. I rescued Bhumil and he left for his road trip with his friends. After he was gone Vrushy dragged me to the kitchen for cooking Maggie for her.

We prepared Maggie for both of us and decided to savor ourselves with my delicious creation along with coke to add icing over my cake i.e. Maggie. I laughed thinking about how I was describing my Maggie. Vrushika snatched her bowl of Maggie from my hand and ran towards the balcony. I followed her and we ate our Maggie and talked about everything but nonsense.

She was so chirpy all the time that I had totally forgotten about her sickness and got driven by her crazy aura. She was dancing stupidly, trying to act like Kareena when she was about to fall and I caught her. That was the time I realized that she was having a fever which has only raised now.

I within a fraction of second scooped her in my arms and carried her to her room. Her eyes popped out of her sockets out of utter shock, but I saw them soften when after a second when I started walking towards her room with her being in my arms.

I lay on her bed and asked her where her medicines were she pointed towards the side table on the other side of the bed. She took the medicines without revolting and I covered her with the duvet. I was about to leave when she held my hand. I gave her a suspicious look when she said "Please don't go." I heard the thundering of clouds outside her grip on my hand tightened as the roaring increased.

I gave her a small smile and took a step towards her she shifted on her bed to make some space for me. I sat on the side and started massaging her hair and soon she drifted into sleep and with her even I fell asleep scooping her.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I was standing in the same space, the same balcony but this time alone and distressed. I was so frustrated with myself but I knew I had to calm down. I can't act like this in front of everyone.

"Shantanu"

As I was trying to cool myself I heard someone call my name.
