~third person POV~

Sapphire watched as her best friend ran in the direction of the Autobot.

'You better make it back, Scar.' She thought and ran towards the soldiers that were making sure the civilians made it to safety.

Scarlett glanced back at Sapphire as she continued running and smiled slightly.

'I'll be fine, Sapph.' She knew her best friend was worried, but Scarlett didn't want to blow the only chance she had to safe the bot.

"It's Megatron! Retreat! Move! Fall back!" Jazz yelled as he tried to delay Megatron only to be shot at by him making Scarlett run faster.

'Oh God, please, let me make it!' She thought as Megatron grabbed him and flew away. Her heart was beating loudly in her ears as adrenaline rushed through her. Looking around, her eyes landed on the submachine gun left forgotten on the ground. She was quick to pick it up and follow the two mechs.

"That all you got, Megatron?" Jazz taunted.

"Come here, little cretin!" Megatron grabbed Jazz, but Jazz opened fire with his blaster.

The closer Scarlett got to the building, the more she could hear their conversation. The redhead got a good angle before raising the weapon and looking through the scope until she found Megatron's eye.

"You want a piece of me? You want a piece?" Jazz yelled as he shot at him and Scarlett settled her finger on the trigger.

"No!" Megatron growled and Scarlett inhaled while closing her eyes. "I want TWO!"

The redhead exhaled and pulled the trigger, stumbling a few feet from the knock back.

Hearing Megatron roar in pain, she slowly opened her eyes and released a shaky breath as she hoped she wasn't too late. The sight of the silver mech getting up from the ground made her grin brightly.

'I-I did it.' Scarlett thought as she dropped the submachine gun and turned around to bolt.

"You pesky insect!" The furious Decepticon leader roared in anger as the redhead bolted out of there unaware that the silver Autobot had seen her.
