Taehyung was killing time on his phone, trying not to think how he needs to go to that disgusting place where he's got a job.
He was playing video games with his right hand and smoking a cigarette with other one.
Even though his mother is a smoker herself, she really worried a lot because of the amount of empty cigarette packs she'd see every evening in the trashcan.
Taehyung didn't smoke that much the first two years since he's started, but just recently. All the stress around making money, absence from school and the lack of healthy relations with his mother made him smoke lot more.
Suddenly, while he was playing video games, his phone started ringing. It was the club's manager.
"Hey, Taehyung, are you at home now?" - A rough voice of a middle-aged man asked through the speaker.
"Yes, Mr. Gong."
"Great, since I'll need you earlier at work today", Taehyung squeezed his phone pissed off by the manager's demand,"please come at eight pm, we have to set up the whole place. I'll explain the details when you come."
The person hung up before Taehyung even got time to say "sure" or "yes, sir".
"Ugh, that fucker..." - mad Taehyung said through teeth, hitting the window frame.
While he was expressing his frustration, a cute girl was standing on the street, looking at him through his opened window.
He immediately recognized her and got dumbfounded. His cheeks got a reddish tone and he just put on an awkward smile.
She smiled back and turned towards the direction of grocery store. Taehyung gulped nervous and ran out of his room.
He grabbed the keys and slammed the door, not even thinking of locking the apartment.
He was speed walking towards the girl, trying to catch up with her. Hopefully, it was red on the traffic light and the girl stood few centimeters behind the curb.
"Hi, Jiwoo." - Taehyung said on her ear. His nose touched her hair, which made the girl flinch.
"Oh, hi.. that was unexpected."
"I know, but you starring at me from the sidewalk was also equally unexpected." - Taehyung's words made the girl blush a little.
"Um.. I was going to the grocery store and unintentionally glanced at your window and saw you raving about something, so it got my attention."
"Yeah, my boss told me I have to be earlier at work today and I got very pissed. I mean, even my normal shift from 10 pm to 8 am is bad enough and now he tells me to come at 8 pm... I was this close to shoot myself in the head." - Taehyung gestured his words by making a gun with his fingers, putting it on his forehead.
The girl was just smiling, finding hard to look at the boy's eyes.
Taehyung noticed her blushing and got a bit surprised.
Why do girls always have to smile like that in front of boys? They're so weird.. - Taehyung thought with a raised eyebrow.
"It's green light, I should cross." - Said the girl.
"You mean "we" should cross."
"If you want to help me carry all those bags, than yes.""Oh, don't pretend like I haven't helped you at least 15 times by now." -Taehyung complained through laugh, putting his hands behind his nape.

They carried the bags to Jiwoo's home. It took them a lot longer to come back than usual because they were talking more this time.
