Bellamy's POV:

2199 days since Praimfaya. 2199 days since the end of the world. 2119 days since Clarke died.

When we first came up here she was all I could think about. I imagined her dying. I replayed it over and over again in my head. I watched as a wave of piercing hot flames washed over her body. Her skin blistering and burning as she lay on the ground struggling to breath through the heat. Hair splintering and smoking, the hazmat suit melting into her skin.

I let that happen. I left her behind.

Now its time to go back down to earth. An earth which Clarke won't be on. I won't ever again see her hair shine in the sunlight; see the way the light from the fire reflects off her eyes, making them sparkle like the ocean; see a smile light up her face as she watches the 100 dance around the campfire.

Everyone up here has lost someone. We all suffered in our own way. All of our people are gone, left behind on a burning planet and as far as we know they may be dead. Raven is really the one who kept us all together. She comforted Monty and Harper when their nightmares woke them up screaming. She stopped Echo from ripping someones head off when the metal confinements became too much. She fixed up what was left of the ring, keeping the support system up and running. More than anything, she took up the vacant place of leader.

Murphy and Emori probably had it best up here. They never really had a people. Both of them shunned out because of their imperfections. Maybe because of the loneliness they suffered, they hurt less now.

I can't let anyone see how much the loss of my partner has broken me. I am their leader and I will lead them back to the ground. Just maybe not in the way I thought.

About a week ago, we made contact with another ship. The Eligius Corporation appeared out of the darkness of space, hovering over the last patch of green on earth. Charmaine Diyoza, the so-called Captain, offered us help in getting down to the ground. She was the only one on the entire ship who seemed even remotely happy that we were there. That was understandable though. When you have spent several years with one group of people anyone outside of it can be seen as hostile. However, something seemed off. Out of the entire crew only one of them knew how to fly the ship. Not to mention that 'prisoner transport' was emblazoned on the side of the vessel.

Everyone else is as wary of these newcomers as me, Murphy and Echo maybe more so. Over the past week we have been slowly transferring some of their fuel reserves into the ring, small amounts at a time. Enough so that if the Eligius crew looked into it, it would be seen as nothing more than a technological malfunction. That's been our main problem for the past six years. It's driven Raven up a wall. Brand new landing ship, enhanced and ready to fly, and no fuel to do it. Even her and Monty's combined brain power was unable to solve the issue.

But now we have enough. It may be stolen but it can get us to the ground. Raven has set up the ship and once everyone is there, we can go back to earth. We can finally go back home. Not that long and I can see my sister again. If she's still alive then she must be out of the bunker by now. Five years and she is finally living underneath the sun again. My sister, the girl under the floor, the great Skairipa.

That's where I'm heading now.

All the corridors are empty, the only thing that can be heard is the faint humming of machines and the hard echoing of boots against metal. My gun is hidden in the waistband of my jeans, my jacket pulled down low over the handle. A full magazine ready to be used if needed. These people are dangerous and I'm pretty sure they won't take kindly to an armed stranger walking about alone. Monty hacked into the parole lists and made sure that the path to our pod would be clear of crew. Lets hope that works out.
