Alexandra Veronica Swan older (unexpected child) sister of Isabella Marie(?) Swan, and daughter of Chief of police, Charlie (whatever his middle name is) Swan.
Her mother abandoned both Charlie and herself because she "doesn't want to be somewhere where it's not sunny," but in reality, it was because she didn't want to be with the eldest child. So she left with Bella.
After that she got a mail by her mother, Renee, saying that she is useless in every possible way. And so, Alex wanted to prove her wrong by got to the military.
At the age of sixteen she was accepted into the army and treated just like any other person. Two years later her rank was lutendendt(?) and a few months later a captain.
On one mission three squad members and herself went in to woods to scout out the enemy. When Alex's back was turned, her squad members were attacked. She looked back to see why they were so quiet, and she saw their bodies on the ground lifeless. Them she felt something bite her neck and flames erupted.
While in the transformation, she knew what they were up against, and that they needed help. So she went back to base to train in her new body and control her thirst, so she could find the Voltori.
