Zapp's failing at his attempt to attack Klaus again, K.K is out with her kids, Steven is just reading the newspaper, Leo and Zedd are out for lunch right now, and Chain is just on her phone, scrolling through it aimlessly.
It was a very weird 12 o'clock at HQ. Usually, it isn't this quiet and there were always missions for us every hour...
Whatever, it's not like I'm complaining. I love the peace and quiet, but Libra is always so noisy so it just concerns me a bit.
Suddenly, Klaus broke the odd silence.
"Ah, the new people are a bit late, aren't they?" Klaus said.
"Oh really? I see- wait WHAT?" I blurted out.
"You didn't know?" Steven asked me.
"I probably was distracted or just didn't get the memo, that's all," I replied.
"I do wonder what they look like though?" Chain curiously commented.
Now that she mentioned it, I'm really curious what they look like.
But, I won't make any assumptions yet since I don't have enough evidence yet. Trust me, last time I didn't do that, I ordered something that I hated off a menu.
"Anyway, the new employees should've been here 15 minutes ago," Klaus interrupted my thoughts.
"Wait, what?" Leo said as Zedd and he just entered the building. Looks like they had a fun lunch judging from their tiredness.
"Oh look, it's midget and sushi~" Zapp loudly teased the two before meeting face-to-foot with Chain.
Klaus, Steven, Gilbert, and I looked at the other four in exhaustion. Man, they really know how to drain other people's energy without even trying.
All of the sudden, we hear a beeping noise so Steven and I went to the monitors to see what's up. In the security camera in front of the door that leads to the elevator, it revealed three people, one with black hair, one with bright red hair, and another wearing a hat but his blond hair was visible.
"Uh Klaus, are these the newcomers?" I asked.
Klaus came to take a look and then nodded. So then, I proceeded to turn off all the motion alarms to let the newcomers in. The door for them opened up for them to enter.
In a moment's time span, there stood three people in front of us. First, let's talk about the tallest one, the one with the black hair that I mentioned earlier.
Now that I take a good look at him, he's actually really handsome. He has really nice black hair, round glasses, grey eyes, a black piercing on one of his ears, and he looks like he's in his mid-twenties. He's wearing a black hoodie and black pants, which is literally what I wear too, haha. His jawline game is strong though.
