The day that changed my life for the better.

It was just another one of our dates.

Steven sent me a nice red dress along with a gold necklace and I wore it with black high tops and a denim jacket to go along with it.

I also paired it with a more toned-down red lipstick and with a cat-eye as well.

Then, as just on time, Steven picked me up at 6 with his black BMW.

He was dressed in a suit as always, but he was wearing one of my favorite colors on him and it was arctic blue. Damn, he looked really good.

We both got on the car and we kinda just stared at each other for a while, admiring each other's appearance, before we both realized it at the same time and looked away. My face was really warm and when I glanced at Steven, his ears were red. After what seemed like forever, we got on the road to our next date.

We're one of the weirder people, as we liked to eat dinner before going on our late-night movie date.

So we stopped by our favorite restaurant, which was Beau Ciel, and we ordered our usuals. Steven ordered his filet mignon with mashed potatoes while I ordered aligot and ravioli.

I remember this was our first date before the whole fake "Haru" thing. It was very amusing as I was getting to know more about Steven.

As we ate, I couldn't help but keep glancing at Steven. He just looked so handsome and when we both caught each other staring at each other, we both smiled. He laid his head on his hand and looked at me, smiling. At that moment, I knew something was up. How do I know?

Well, dating Steven for about 3 years now, one of his habits is that when he plans a surprise for anything, he looks at the person who he planned a surprise for and smiles at them while laying his head on his hand.

Yes, this took me a year or so to figure out.

"Hey Steven," I said, "Do you need to tell me anything?"

"Not at the moment, no," he answered, "why my darling?"

"You're acting very suspicious, aren't you?"

"Oh, am I now? I'm just eating dinner with my beautiful wi-, I mean girl."

"Hm, I still prefer badass."

What was he going to say before beautiful?

"And you've never changed, haha."

"Steven, really. I don't like that many surprises as much as the next person."

"I know."

"Well, I want to know and it's gonna get me antsy."

"Good things come to those who wait."

"Oh come on," and I gave a pout to him, which he held my chin and pecked at my cheek.

"You'll see," Steven answered with a bright smile.

And we returned to our meal, with him holding my left hand as we ate.

But, I noticed that on his right hand, there was a ring I've never seen him wear on his ring finger.

Then we stopped by the movie theatres and we just got our popcorn and snacks.

We were going to watch "Avengers: Endgame" (I JUST WATCHED IT AND AASDFGHJKJHGFDS) but instead, Steven got other tickets to another movie and let me tell you, I wanted to see America's ass :)
