Basically Transgender is harder to explain. It is when you are born one gender, but feel another. For example, you may be female and have dysphoria over your feminine features. You may feel like a man. Or it could be the opposite way around. You could even feel like both or neither genders--but more on that later.
This is okay! You are not a burden to anyone if you request they use your preferred pronouns and name. They should respect you and your feelings. You are valid.
