Basically Agender individuals do not identify as any gender. Their gender identity is gender less or neutral. Agender people prefer for people to use they/them pronouns.

However. Keep in mind that agender people can still prefer masculine/feminine clothes etc. They are still agender. No matter peoples names, appearances or hobbies, if they say they are/aren't a specific gender, you respect that. If their name is John and they have tattoos and big muscles and say they are a girl, then they are a girl! Etc.
