When Everything Changed.

Forts and assumptions.

I woke up for the second morning in a row, over the moon. Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. 

I smiled and pulled the blankets off of me. I jumped off my bed and sprinted into the shower. I showered while singing "Walking On Sunshine" on the top of my lungs. I was in an extremley good mood and that song just matched it. 

When I was finished I dried my hair, straightened it, and did my makeup perfectly. I checked my hair again, just to make sure it was pin straight. Then I got dressed in high wasted shorts, a lace flower shirt, and blue toms. Satisfied, I grabbed my phone off my dresser and made my way downstairs.

"Good morning love." My father said cheerfully embracing me in a hug. 

"Morning dad." I kissed his cheek and grabbed a banana. 

"What's up for today?" My mother asked.

"Umm, hold on." I pulled my phone out of the pocket and unlocked it.

Hey Mandy, we're still hanging out today right? Come over at 2 if you still want to ;p x

I smiled and wrote back that I would be there.

"Mom, I'm going to Niall's house in like an hour." I said to her.

"Niall from One Direction? Okay sounds good." She smiled.

"Oh Val, we have to tell her about the vacation." My dad said and I cocked my head to face him. 

Vacation?

"Oh yes, honey you know Paul, their body guard?"

I simply nodded my head, waiting her to finish.

"Well me and your father are going to Jamaica with Paul and Clodagh and we were wondering if you, your sisters and the boys from the band wanted to come with us? Paul said it would be a good break for all of us. We're leaving in a week and staying for two" She finished and I smiled.

Oh my God. Jamaica was like one of my favorite vacation spots and if I got to spend it with the boys and Niall, it would be utterly amazing. 

"Wow, that sounds great. But I don't know if I can take off work.." I said sadly.

"Don't worry about it, I'll handle it." My dad cooed and I hugged him again.

"Okay thanks Daddy, I'm going out now. I'll be back later." I hugged my mom and left the room.

I arrived at Niall's house around the time I said I would be there. I shut my car off, shoved my keys into my purse and got out of the car. I walked up to his door and knocked a couple times. Butterflies let loose inside my stomach as he opened the door and pulled me into a hug.

"Hey Mandy." He said smoothly, pulling away and giving me a small smile.

"Hey." I cooed, looking at him.

He was wearing khaki shorts, a blue polo and blue supras. He looked cute, as always. 

He showed me around his house and then we finally settled down on couch.

"Let's do something fun." I suggested switching my position so I was sitting on my knees. 

"Okay like what?" He asked.

"Mmmm.." I looked around the room and spotted a pile of blankets sitting on the other couch. An idea popped into my head immediately.

"Let's make a fort!" I exclaimed, jumping up and skipping over to the blankets.
