"What to wear. what to wear."
I asked myself, thinking hard about what I was going to wear on this date with Niall. I walked into my closet and started ripping clothes down. I'm so bad when it comes to picking out a pretty outfit in a short amount of time. I only had 20 minutes to get everything done. Finally I came across a cute top and plucked it off the hanger. It was light purple, sleeveless, and had a lace collar. I opened my skirt drawer and got out a tight black mini skirt. I put the skirt on then put the shirt on over it. I tucked the shirt into the skirt then grabbed a belt off the floor. I fixed the belt around my waist and smiled happliy into the mirror. I like this outfit, very much.
Then I curled my hair and placed a black head band in. I hair sprayed it all over just to hold it in place for the night. With the 5 minutes I had left, I did my makeup, trying to cover any flaws on my face.
I walked back over to my closet and put my favorite coach sneakers on. I grabbed my purse, sprayed some Hollister perfume on me and with that, I was ready to go.
I made my way down the long sprial stair case and was, once again, greeted by my parents and sisters.
"Is Niall picking you up?" Brooke asked me, eyeing my outfit carefully.
"Yeah, in like 2 minutes why?"
"Can he drop me off at Chelsea's house?" She asked, giving me the puppy dog eyes.
"No Brooke. This is my date with Niall, I'm not making him drive you to your friend's house which is 5 minutes away." I answered firmly.
"Dad!" She whined, mad that she wasn't getting her way for once.
"Brooke, your sister has a date tonight, I'll drive you." My mother answered and Brooke huffed then ran to her room.
"So Mandy, your going on a date with this Niall kid?" My dad smiled and I refrained from an eyeroll.
Why was everyone so nosy? Who cares if I'm going on a date with him. It's dinner, not a marriage proposal.
"Yeah.." I said bluntly.
"Hunny that's great! We're really happy for you!" My mother got up and hugged me tightly.
"Mom get off, your going to mess up my outfit." I scolded, brushing myself off.
"Sorry, I'm just happy for you Mandy." She smiled and I returned it.
Of course they were happy for me. I had been asked out so many times but I always reject them. I don't know if it's because of my work or just because I don't like the kid. Claire always told me how all these boys like me and they tell her all the time, but I just don't get it. Anyway, no matter how many boys like me or ask me out, I only like Niall. He's everything I look for in a guy and he's just perfect.
"You really like him don't you?" My dad asked, pulling me into a hug.
"Yeah, yeah. I guess." I pulled away from him as I heard a knock at the door.
Niall.
I smiled and went to go answer it. I pulled open the door and it revealed a very good looking Niall standing there. He had on khaki jeans and a cute black polo with very white sneakers on. His hair was perfectly messed up. He had a rose in his hand. He handed it to me and I took it, feeling myself blush.
"You look great, Mand." He thick Irish accent spoke as he pulled me into a hug. I inhaled his smell, which was amazing.
"Thank you, you do too." I told him, pulling away.
By now, my parents were watching us greet each other. Niall looked past me and waved to my mother and father.
"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Danielson." He said polietly.
