Start writing your story
(A/N. Sorry, I know these notes are hella awkward. But I just want to apologize for the changing of how the book is written across chapters. Some chapter you are referred to as "you", and others as "she". For some reason, it's really hard for me to keep the writing style consistent. So just hang with me please, and I hope you enjoy.)

You lean into him a bit more, pressing more pressure on his lips with yours. For some godforsaken reason, it feels right. You have kissed a lot of people but it has never felt like this. It feels nostalgic, like watching your favorite vinyl play or finding an old long last photograph. The kiss reminds you of a happier time you never had. You pull back enough where you can clearly see his face, he is looking down at your lips.
"Murdoc..." You whisper. Not knowing how to classify the emotions that flow through you.
He looks into your eyes. "I know. Let's get out of here."
You grab his hand and he leads you out of the arcade, the sky is painted with a million shades of orange and pink. Black silhouettes of palm trees sway in a gentle warm breeze. At the bottom of the small hill, the town is on you can see a glimpse of the turquoise ocean reflecting the warmth of the sky. You have never been so happy and because of the happiness, part of you is saddened by the fear that this moment may be the happiest of your life.
"Hey, let's go get a drink or something," Murdoc says giving your hand a squeeze.
You just nod. Eventually, you are back at the very bar where you met him not so long ago.
He orders two beers and hands one to you.
You pull him away from the bar and towards an empty shaded part of the beach and plop into the sand.
He sits down next to you and you put your head on his shoulder.
You both stare out into the ocean for a moment in silence before you break it, "I think I'm falling for you." You whisper.
Murdoc takes a swig of beer, "That's not a good idea." He doesn't look at you.
"I know it's not...We've only spent a short amount of time together, and I already have you all figured out. And I mean, I know the type of person I am. We're not so different you and I. We both allow ourselves all the Earthly pleasures we could ever want..."
"Drugs, sex, and rock-and-roll" Murdoc finished with a grin as he looked at you.
You laughed. "Exactly. I've never been in love before, not really. But I think I might start to know how it feels, which is so ridiculously stupid because I hardly know you. But I just, I feel something I've never felt before. ya know?" Now it was your time to take a drink.
Murdoc bit his lip. "I leave in only a few days (y/n). Nothing good can come of this."
Now it was your turn to look away, saddened by the fact he wasn't answering if he had deeper feelings or not.
You felt shifting next to you and turned to see him taking off his pants. Underwear and all.
"What are you doing?!" You nearly screeched with a laugh, it didn't make you uncomfortable but it did shock you.
He gave you his sly grin. "Swimming of course." He stood up and started walking towards the ocean before calling back to you. "You comin?"
"Hell with it." You whispered as you pulled off all your clothes. You thought about keeping your bra and underwear on but decided if he was going full nude then you were too. You ran as fast as you could into the ocean, surprised to be greeted by the warm waves.
Murdoc ran after you, "You'd better hope there are no sharp corals or those spikey fellas in here!" He said as he jumped in, splashing you.
You cocked your eyebrow and thrust all the water you could at his face.
"Ey!" He called back at you trying not to laugh before he splashed you back.
You tried to run past him in attempts to splash him again but he grabbed your arm before you could, pulling you close into him.
You playfully tried to get away as he wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you into him laughing.
You turned around and pressed yourself into him. Gently pressing your lips on his. "I don't care if you're going away Murdoc. I don't care right now. It'll all work out. But right now is right now. It's all we've got. Eventually, everything ends and we may make every day the best we can. Even if the rest of my life is sad and miserable, who cares because right now I am here."
He smiles at you, a sincere smile. One you haven't seen yet. "You are quickly becoming the most fascinating girl I've ever met."
"I'm sure you've met a lot of them, you just didn't notice because you were too busy fu-"
He cut you off by kissing you again. He picked you up as you wrapped your legs around his waist. You realized he was hard. But you weren't surprised, that's just a common side effect of going skinny dipping with Murdoc Niccals.
He looked at you, noticing you noticed. "I won't be offended if you want down." You were surprised he wasn't trying to push you into anything.
"It's fine." You whisper into his ear. Without thinking you lower yourself slightly so it's lined up with your entrance. You don't have a condom but you're on the pill, so you're safe from one long term STD, pregnancy.
You feel his body tense up as he holds his breath.
You gently ease yourself onto it, sliding your whole body up and down. Using his shoulders as leverage as he's still holding you up.
You continue like this for several minutes before he releases with a moan. and you lower yourself off.
He looks flustered. "I...uh...Maybe we can continue later so you can finish too?"
"I'm counting on it." You say with a wink as you walk back to shore to collect your clothes. He runs to meet up with you and you both start walking towards the hotel.
Sorry, there was no warning, it just sorta happened. Oops.
