"are you coming 'round my house then?" luke asked, swinging an arm around my shoulder again.
"um, sure." i said smiling at him. yet again, a grin grew on his face. he then quickly grabbed my oxygen tank and placed it over his shoulder again.
"why do you always cover your hands with your sleeves?" luke asked, picking up my hand and then pulling my sleeve down to my wrist.
i shrugged my shoulders, yanking my arm away from him and pulling the sleeve back down. "they're really boney, they've been that way since i was eleven and well, they just bother me." i explained, continuing to pull at my sleeve.
"i think your hands are beautiful!" luke picked up my hand again and kissed my knuckle before interlocking it with his own.
"well, i think your blind!" i countered, whilst poking his cheek.
"why?" he asked shocked, after swatting my hand away.
"because you are! you keep saying i'm beautiful but i'm not!" he quickly slapped his hand over my mouth and made a sh sound.
"liar, liar pants on fire!" he chuckled, finally removing his hand, "you are beautiful! get over it!" i stuck my tongue out at him and he did the same before yanking me into his house. "i'm home!" luke yelled as soon as we were in the hallway, "and i brought grace!"
"grace!" everyone yelled, seemingly in sync.
"yep!" luke nodded as calum, michael and ashton made their way into the hallway. "but we're busy, i need to show her something." he explained whilst pulling me up the stairs.
"lucas!" calum screamed, "she's only sixteen!"
"fifteen actually, my birthdays in august." i smiled.
"fifteen! that's even worse! nope i won't allow it, she coming with us!" calum continued to yell while grabbing my other hand.
"calum shut up! i'm not going to show her that!" luke yelled. calum just nodded his head then made a signal to say i've got my eyes on you. luke dragged me up to his room, and it was suprisingly neat. he had band posters all over the walls, a tv and a stereo. his bed was made and he had no clothes on the floor, just a few albums next to a desk, which had a laptop on it.
i leant onto my knees with my hands and luke shot me a concered look. i just shook my head and held up one of my fingers to signify that i just needed a minute.
"cool room." i remarked, he quickly ran around it and picked up more cd's, which i hadn't noticed, and threw them onto a shelf.
"thanks!" he said, whilst putting a disk into the stereo. he walked away after pressing play then sat on his bed. "coming?" he asked, patting the space next to him. i slowly walked over, dragging my oxygen tank behind me. i sat awkardly at the edge of the bed before i was yanked back by luke and forced to sit at the top, leaning against the pillows. "get comfy then!" i giggled at him and slapped his arm playfully.
"have you ever been to a blink-182 concert?" i asked as i stared at the concert tickets on the wall.
"yup!" he said, throwing his arm around my shoulder, "have you? wait no you can't- i mean you can, i er... i'm sorry!" he mumbled, staring at me.
"it's fine, everyone does it." i explained, shrugging off what he had said.
"does what?" he askes, gently taking my chin in his hand and turning my head to face him.
"judge me, everyone does, it's just a thing." i sighed.
"i didn't mean to, i never would!" he mumbled again and then he kissed my forehead, "it's not your fault, any of this, you're just a normal person, no one deserves to be judged."
