i fluttered my eyes open to find luke's bright blue one's staring down at me. "oh thank god you're awake!" he shouted instantly pulling into a hug. "i thought you were dead!" he chuckled. he finally let me go and helped me sit up on his sofa. i quickly dropped my gaze to my lap as i had four boys all staring at me.

"i should probably go." i stated while attempting to get up, but i was straight away pulled back down by luke.

"you've just woken up, wait a few minutes!" he said, rubbing my arm.

"i only live next door!" i groaned, running a hand through my hair.

"then you'll be fine to stay for a bit longer!" one of the boys spoke, he had dark brown hair and was sat inbetween the green haired boy and a boy with curly, dirty blonde hair. i looked at the boy and gave him a small smile, to which all three of them returned huge grins. i guess this group of friends have a thing for big, cheesy grins.

"guys, you're freaking her out, she's only just met us!" the curly haired boy said. "i'm ashton!" he said giving me a warm smile.

"i'm michael!" the green haired boy said, "and this is calum!" he said pointing to the dark haired boy.

"i can speak for myself!" calum said hitting michael across the head. i giggled as they continued to fight and ashton tried to split them up.

"welcome to my life!" luke chuckled, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"where are your parents?" i asked diverting my attention to luke instead of the fighting boys.

"they're on a businsess trip, they're rarely here." he sighed, "but it's fine cause when they're gone i can have these round!" he smiled, looking at the, still fighting, boys.

"why can't they come round when they're here?"

"parents don't like them! they say they're a bad influence on me and i'm wasting my life with them. stupid if you ask me!" he scoffed. "guys, seriously just stop! come on we have a guest!" the boys ignored luke and carried on fighting. "typical!" luke muttered under his breath.

luke stared at me for a while and i could see the clear worry in his eyes. "i was so scared when you had that like attack thing earlier."

"so was i." i stated. it hadn't happend for a while. the last time i had one was in year nine, when i had to read something out in class. i was now in year eleven.

"yeah, that was horrible. can't even begin to imagine how it was for you!"

"but i'm fine now." i smiled at him.

"yeah." he sighed.

"and it's thanks to you!" another grin grew on his face, larger than the last, and his dimples came back, even deeper than the last.
