Harley woke up from a deep slumber with no light shining into her window. It was night time now. She had slept through the entire day,
"Oy, my sleeping schedule is real off." She sat up in her squeaky bed and stretched. Harley had a few moments of inner dialogue with her conscience,
"I could go out and see Pammy."
"But Joker would beat the crap outta ya."
"Yeah I know I shouldn't go out without his permission. He's just looking out for me. But I gotta see her."
"Okay! Have fun!"
Harley laughed at herself and slipped off her dress, and put on her clean, classic jester costume. Then she slowly opened the window, attempting to be quiet but failing miserably, and slipped out onto a rickety balcony. Then she flipped out onto a few more and eventually was on the ground. She repeated what she had done the previous night and grabbed a motorcycle from one of Joker's men and drove it into the city.
Harley decided that Ivy would be most likely in the main part of town, and this made her excited. Maybe she'd be able to shed some light on who and what this Batman was. Harley climbed up onto the rooftops of a smaller building and jumped across to taller ones, eventually getting a clear view of Gotham City. It was a sight she had never seen before. She has been confined into her life of small robberies and skipping around the outskirts of the city, but this was the real deal. She was in Gotham City. Skyscrapers and Business Buildings towered over everything, Wayne Tower stood the brightest and one of the tallest. She basked in its beauty for a few moments before searching around for Ivy's plants. Harley figured she would be in the city around this time. There was almost to much to look at, she noticed many thugs clomping around on the city floor, terrorizing the citizens. But she also saw classy residents waltzing around, holding petty bags and purses. Harley's heart began to race with an overwhelming excitement.
"Holy crap! This is great!" She said to herself, her legs kicking off of the building's edge. Then she saw them, Ivy's plants. They were crawling out of a local Diner, and many citizens were running out while screaming. Harley hopped down onto a balcony to get a more clear view. Ivy could be seen kissing one of the employees, and after he seemed completely drowsy. Harley had never seen her do that before. Poison Ivy was enchanting. With her arms full of money once again, Pamela ran out of the Diner and Harley could see a large grin on her face.
"PAMMY, HEY PAMELA! IVY, POISON IVY! UHH," she was running out of ways to get her attention, "RED?"
Ivy looked around her, obvious she heard something.
"HEY!" Harley quickly climbed down the building and greeted Ivy by hopping in front of her.
At first she was shocked but then Ivy grinned,
"Oh hey Harls!" She squealed excitedly,"Glad your back!"
"So'm I! Whatcha up to?"
Ivy held up the money, looked back at the Diner, and ran off with Harley. They laughed as they ran away, leaving a messy scene.
"Your the greatest, Red, bringing your girlfriend a ton of money! You really know how to make a girl happy!"
"Hah, you wish!"
The two girls ran for a while, completely ecstatic and ready to take on anything.
"The city is really somethin." Harley said, looking upwards at the colossal buildings.
"Mmhm" Ivy agreed, playing with her hair, "We can't let our guard down to much, people probably called the police after I robbed that Diner so I'm guessing Batman has been alerted."
Harley grinned, she was so prepared to see him, "Nahh, I'd rather get his attention, I wanna see this guy!"
Ivy shook her head and chuckled.
