"No...wait. I do remember Batman vaguely. Perhaps it was from when I was Harleen."
"What's that supposed to mean? You just changed your name, it's not like you switched bodies."
Harley sighed,
"I know. I just...blocked out everything from my past life. I genuinely cant remember anything from when I called myself Harleen. Maybe when I had my sessions with my puddin, that's when he spoke to me about him. He really hasn't talked about him ta me in a while."
Ivy looked at the table and said in a I dull tone,
"Lemme tell ya, he's a real nuisance. Always trying to stop me from doing my work. That's why I came down here tonight, this is where I knew Batman never came."
Harley purses her lips and groaned,
"I'll ask puddin tonight. He's always chattin up his thugs and sendin em off at night, maybe it's got somethin ya do with the B-man."
Ivy nodded shortly and they both stood up and walked out of the restaurant. Poison Ivy stroked a few of her plants on her way out and whispered to them.
"Good job today my babies."
Harley enjoyed watching Ivy manipulate these plants, she liked seeing what her new friend was capable of.
"Well Harley Quinn, here's to a new friendship." Ivy leaned up against the entrance to the Chinese restaurant.
"Yeah Pammy, I'm glad I bumped into ya! I'm sure if I wanna see ya again it won't be hard to spot you!"
Ivy chuckled,
"Just look for some mutant plants." She winked and slowly walked down the sidewalk, accompanied by some vines.
Harley watched Ivy leave and then searched for a vehicle to take back home. She arrived at the hideout at sunrise, with a newfound joy thanks to her new pal. Harley acrobatically made her way to the inside to the hideout, doing flips and cartwheels.
She walked into Joker's room,
"HARLEY? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" He screamed, pounding his fist on the bedside table.
"Hey puddin, I got some-"
Joker grabbed Harley's arm violently and pushed her out of his room,
"YOU DIDNT TELL ME YOU WERE LEAVING!"
"Well I didn't think I had to-"
Joker then stopped throwing a tantrum and stroked his hair,
"Don't go off on your own. I don't feel like fighting." With that he slammed his door and Harley heard him tampering with papers inside.
"Puddinnn, you have to open this door if you want the goodies I got for you..." She said with her cheek against the wooden door. Silence.
"Who's the Batman?" She asked simply.
Suddenly the door opened and Harley fell inside of his room. He stood rigid and yanked Harley off the floor, he held her face close,
"I DONT WANT YOU INTERFEREING, GOT IT?"
"Uhm...yes, yes sir."
Then he pushed her out once again and she was left in the hallway, stunned. Harley turned and sluggishly walked into her little room. She undressed and pulled on a little red, silky dress. Then Harley snuggled into bed and slept through the day.
