Jaime's POV
We were at lunch and I was talking to Josh and noah, when Trey spoke up "Have you guys seen the hot girl in Mr. Mac's homeroom Amelia" I froze when he said that my blood boiling from anger. Calm down Jaime shes not even yours. And ig Josh noticed because he said "Yeah Amelia Dallas, but it's too late Jaime has dibs on her already" Trey looked defeated "How come you always get the hot ones" I shrug "It's like a curse girls just like me" And right on cue Amelia walked through the cafeteria doors and looks right at me and smiled she walked over "So.. What time you gonna be at the party"she asked "Party? What party!?" Trey and Noah said at the same time "My party" She told them "can we come" They said and look at me, I put my hands up in surrender"don't ask me" They looked at Melia "sure!, but make sure YOU come" She pointed at me and walked away with Hailey and another girl. They all looked at me "what?" "She likes you, dude" I look at them "no she doesn't" Then they look to each other "Are you blind, Jai yeah she does" I blush "you really think so" The nod. Wow!

"Dad?" I asked him while he was cooking "hmmm?" He turned around "can I go to a party tonight?" I asked with puppy eyes "No, your grounded remember" I looked at him sadly and made my eyes a little bigger and my lip poke out "daddy please, I'll never ask for anything again" He thought for a second "still no, your grounded" I rolled my eyes "That's another week" I looked shocked "THAT'S NOT FAIR!" he looked at me and then papa came in the kitchen "what's going on?" I slumped in my chair "She wants to go to a party, but she's grounded and added another 2 weeks because she rolled her eyes and yelled at me" I slumped more and papa looked at me "YOU DID WHAT!?" I looked at him "DON'T YOU EVER, YELL AT YOUR FATHER AGAIN, OR SO HELP ME GOD YOU WON'T SIT FOR WEEKS AM I UNDERSTOOD!?" I was scared now "yes" I said a scared to death "EXCUSE ME" I looked at him "yes sir" "Now apologize, and go to your room" I looked at dad "I'm sorry dad" He looked sorry for me "it's okay, buddy" I got up to go to my room up the stairs I heard papa say "your grounded for a month" I went to my room and slammed my door which was a big mistake "JAIME RHYLEE MCCANN, GET DOWN THESE STAIRS NOW" I walked down and seen papa looking at me with the angriest expression ever "did you just slam freaking door in this house" I looked down "yes sir" "Go wait in my room" "Bu-" "GO!" I ran upstairs to his room to sit in his bed he walked in a few minutes later "get up and come here." I stood up "what's gotten into you?" He asked surprisingly calm "nothing" I mumbled "what?" "Nothing" "Something has" I didn't say anything "go to your room" I ran to my room and texted Amelia

I made sure dad and papa we're asleep when I climbed out my window and made to Amelia's house 2 blocks down she answered the door bell "you made it" She hugged me I hugged back "anything for you" She blushed she held out her hand for me to take and led me through the crowd of people and to her back patio and through the window I could Noah and Trey tryna get girls to dance. Idiots. "I come out her to think" she said still holding my hand "what about?" I asked "anything...you mostly" I looked at her "me?" She looked at our hands "yeah when I seen you in homeroom the first day, I thought you were cute and then we started hanging out more and more and ive grown to like you" She looked at me "really? Me too" She smiled and I looked from her eyes to her lips to her eyes again and next thing I knew I kissed her I had my hands on her hips and her arms we're around my neck and we let go "wow" She said smiling and I looked at her "will you go out with me?" She smiled so big I thought her mouth would explode "I would love too" We walked back in and everyone just stared at us "what?" We said at the same time and they all replied "YOU GUYS JUST KISSED!?" "yeah so" I said everyone started cheering and yelling Trey looked jealous I walked over to him "no hard feelings" He laughed "no hard feelings" He repeated and bro hugged me

I was walking back home, but when I crawled through my window I saw my dad and papa sitting on my bed. Oh shoot. "Hey guys" Dad looks like he'd been crying and left the room but dad look furious even more than before when I yelled at dad and he had a belt with him. Oh no. "Where have you been, do you have any idea how worried we were about you" I looked down and he yelled "LOOK AT ME!" I looked up and he was waiting for an answer "I'm sorry papa I just wanted to go to the party" He just got angrier "I DIDN'T LET YOU GO FOR A REASON AND YET YOU JUST SNEAK OUT BEHIND OUR BACKS!?" "YOUR DAD WAS UP CRYING BECAUSE HE THOUGHT YOU RAN AWAY" I started tearing up "OH NO DON'T CRY NOW I'M SURE YOU WEREN'T CRYING WHILE YOU WERE AT THE PARTY!" When I was done she was a crying mess "I'm sorry but you have to learn to listen and behave I love you very much but sometimes grounding you isn't enough so now it's doubled 2 months no phone tablets nothing" She was sniffling and wasn't in the mood to argue with me "no go downstairs and apologize to daddy" she didn't get up and I know why so I carried her to the kitchen and she looked at Justin "I-im s-so-sorry da-da-dddyy" She sniffed and Justin looked heartbroken at the sight in front of him "it's ok baby" And he took her from my arms.
