"Jaime wake up time for school, Bud" I shake him "daddy noo" He hits my hand away I give him 3 warning smacks and he gets up "Go take a shower" He walks to the bathroom and I hear the water running. Meanwhile I go cook breakfast which happens to be blueberry pancakes and I see Jaime walk downstairs In his soccer jersey and black skinny jeans his team is the pirates and they have a game today "daddy are you king to the game" He ask and I nod "yes and I'm going to dance everytime you make a goal" I laugh "please don't do that" He hides his face in embarrassment "no promises" I hand him a plate "do you think papa is gonna come" "I don't know sweetie" He nods. He really misses Jason he talks about him non stop I can't believe I tore their unbreakable bond apart. "Do you have you uniform shorts" He nods "yeah in my gym bag" "Cleats" "Check"
"Shin guards" "Check" "Socks" "Check" "Ok then were all set" I said and we drove to school "have a nice day" He waved "bye dad" I love my baby he's growing up so fast.

Jaime's POV
I saw Amelia at her locker I went behind her and picked her up "hey beautiful" She giggled "hi" And kissed my cheek "where have you been" She asked "grounded and busy a lot has happened since that night" She nodded "I know right did you know Riyah and Trey are together now" I shook my head "nope" "So what happened to you" "Well I made the soccer team, my dad left, and I got my phone back" She hugged me "I'm so sorry jai" "It's ok" I hugged her back "you coming to my game tonight" "Wouldn't miss it for the world" I kissed her "I love you" "I love you too" "Yo McCann!" Dirk and his possy walked toward me and Amelia "I heard your dad left must be hard" He said laughing I really hate this guy he pinched me in the rib "I heard he left your dad for the mail man" I was mad now "Look Dirk I don't want any trouble OK" He laughed "what's wrong scared" He walked around me in circles then he saw Amelia and grabbed her "leave her alone Dirk she has nothing to do with this, it's between you and me leave her out of it" He looked at me and punched me in the stomach I couldn't breathe " Jaime are you OK" Amelia asked "I'm fine just go don't stay here" I told her "no I'm not leaving you" She said "well isn't this sweet" Dirk said "Leave him alone Dirk" Amelia said backing me up "what are you gonna do" He sneered "get the principal" She said "ooh the principal I'm really scared" He said and the he kicked me in the leg and I screamed and fell to the ground it hurt so much "get up punk" He kicked me again this time in the stomach and my face my nose was bleeding and my lip was busted "Dirk stop, please your hurting him!" He looked at her and pushed her "that's the point sweetie" He laughed and kicked me over and over again I tried to get up but I couldn't after he stopped the principal came over to us "you three in my office now!" I limped to the office and otw I saw Ryan and her brothers at the office with Trey and he mouthed 'what happen' 'Dirk happened' I replied "what is wrong with you kids!" He looked at Amelia, Dirk, and me "you've been in my office 6 times this year Mr McCann, 10 for you Mr lane, but Mrs Dallas I've never seen you in here before" "So one at a time what happened" "He pushed me so I beat him up" Dirk said "HE'S LYING" Amelia and I said at the same time "well I'm calling all of your parents"

My dad walked in first then Amelia's parents and then Dirk's. I had an ice pack on my leg, lip, eye, and tissue in my nose to stop the blood. My dad spoke first "what happened?" "Well Mr lane here says your son pushed him which caused the whole fight" "Dad he's lying" I spoke up and he looked at me and put his hand up "and Mrs Dallas tried to help, but her parents are here because she was involved in it" They nodded their heads "Now Mr Lane will be suspended for 3 weeks" "Mr McCann this is a warning if I see you in here again 3 day suspension" I nodded "you are dismissed. "Dad I didn't push him I swear" He nodded "I know, I'll see you at the game ok" I nodded and Amelia looked at me and waved shes getting out early lucky. I went outside the office and told Trey what happened and he told me he got in trouble for skipping reading with Ryiah, typical Trey. I went to my next class which is history then I have to get ready for the game "who is participating in the soccer game today" Mr. Harrison asked and I raised my hand and so did Josh I haven't seen him in a while like 5 months actually I thought he moved but guess not "ok you will be let out early to go get ready" I nodded 15 minutes later the intercome came on "will all soccer players please reprttto the gym" Josh and I looked at Mr Harrison for the ok he nodded and we ran out the room we heard 'good lucks' and 'you better win' "ok pirates suit up we have a game to win" Coach shuttles said after we got dressed we headed outside the gym where I saw Amelia running towards me "hey baby" I picked her up and hugged her "hey babe" She smiled I kissed her cheek "good luck tonight" She said and went to find her seat I have a surprise for her. When the banner was up and the crowd was seated the MC announced that we were coming out and we ran through the banner I saw my dad in the stands and waved. "Let's get this game started" The MC said. Half way through the game I scored 6 points and Josh 4 it was 10 to 10 next point wins I saw Josh open and passed the ball and he made the winning score and the teams picked us up on the shoulders and the crowd cheered "ladies and gentleman can I please have your attention, Amelia Dallas stand up please" The MC announced and I gave my team the signal and they held up the posters that read 'will you go to the spring formal with me' on each one her face was priceless and she was on the jumbo screen and she yelled yes and I got Pat on the backs on the way through the audience I picked her up and kissed her "I love you" She smiled "I love you too" I gave my dad a hug and then I looked on the field and I saw papa with a tiny box in his hands I screamed so loud ppl next to me had to cover their ears.I ran down to the field and hugged him so tight "I missed you papa" "I missed you too buddy" He put me on his shoulders and we went to celebrate with Amelia and her family.
