ch 17: papa's gone

Jaime's POV
I woke up on the couch at uncle Alex's house and he was in the kitchen looking at a map "hey" I waved "hi" He looked up "sleep well" "Yeah" I said  and sat down at the table "you have to go home today you know that right" I nodded "well let's go" I sighed and we got in the car and drove back to my house "good luck, call if you need me" I nodded "I will"  I waved and he drove off I walked in the house and everyone that was here yesterday was here to day they looked at me and I just stood there and I saw uncle Jaxon coming down the stairs "JAIME, OH THANK JESUS WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" he asked "uncle Alex's house" "your dads are out looking for you,  they're worried"  I went to the kitchen and grabbed a drink and went back to where everyone was "why?" I asked "because they missed you and they were scared they called called my mom and we flew down here and the police have been here non stop" "Woah." I feel like someone's watching me. "So where's Nana, papa j, and jazzy" "They went looking for you too, I think we should call them" I looked at him "no don't do that" "Why not" Everyone said at the same time "because I said don't" Jaxo looked at me "what's wrong?" He asked "wym" "You look scared or something" "Nothing I'm fine" Just then the door opened and I saw my dad "JAIME WHERE WERE YOU?" He asked "uncle Alex's house" He hugged me "I was worried sick, I looked everywhere for you" I smiled "you did, I thought you might hate me" I said "why would I hate you" He looked at me "because I ran away" He looked hurt "I could never hate you sweetie,  I love you" I hugged him "I love you too" I looked around "where's papa?" He sighed "I don't know, bud" I nodded "I'm going upstairs" When I went upstairs I saw a note on my bed. On the front it said 'to an old friend' I opened it
Dear Jaime,
It's been so long since I've seen you I'm getting out soon and I'm coming for you,  Jason can't protect you forever I'm your father not him, when I come there's gonna be trouble coming your way. ;)

I thought he was gonna be in jail for a long time and now he's coming for me. I don't want to go with him I want to stay with papa and daddy. I went downstairs to show daddy the note when I got down there I saw papa sitting on the sofa with daddy. He looked up and saw me he got up and ran over to me and picked me up "buddy I'm so sorry I didn't believe you, they told me the truth I'm sorry I didn't listen to you" I smiled "it's ok" I hugged him back he saw what was in my hand "what's that" I froze and handed him the note he opened it and read it he looked furious and walked over to me and kneeled down "I won't let him take you I promise" He said "I know" I smiled and dad was confused as ever "what's wrong" I looked at Papa "you didn't tell him" He shook his head, I stood there shocked "papa you have to "Dad looked at papa "tell me what?" I looked at dad and he took daddy to another room and 15 minutes later I heard yelling and smashing "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!" Daddy yelled at papa. No. "Justin listen to me" Papa tried to talk "NO YOUR A LIAR LEAVE NOW AND DON'T COME BACK" I saw papa and daddy go upstairs I followed and everyone watched me run up the stairs "daddy?" He looked at me with tears in his eyes "yes" I wiped his tears away and he smiled "please don't make him leave he just wanted to protect you John is a horrible cruel man he tried to kill me once" Daddy looked at me with sad eyes "Baby,  I just need space to cool down, you won't understand its complicated" I started to tear up "daddy please let him stay" He held my face "baby I'm sorry but I just can't, its not healthy" I looked at him and I saw papa going downstairs I followed him "papa don't go" He looked at me and hugged me "I'll be back, I promise" I held on to him "Papa, please stay" He started crying "I can't, I wish I could but I can't ill be back before you know it, just let go ok" I held him even more tighter "no papa I'm not letting go,  stay" He sighed "I'm sorry bud" He said "JUSTIN COME GET JAIME!!" He yelled "papaa nooo, please don't leave me I want you to stay"😭😭😭😭 "Come on Jaime let go" Daddy tried to grab my hands but I wasn't gonna let him go under no circumstances was I letting the the other part of me slip away "daddy please just let him stay, I won't be bad anymore ill do anything you want ill go to school everyday make straight A's eat my peas, but don't make him leave" Now everyone was crying and uncle Alex burst through the door and grabbed me "NOOO LET ME GO, PAPA DON'T LEAVE PLEASE!!" I cried and kicked and screamed "I'm sorry kiddo he will be back" Uncle Alex said and held me down while I watched my other half walk out the door "papa don't go." I whispered I got out of uncle Alex's grip and went to my room and cried all night I cried myself to sleep.

Justin's POV
After Jason left Alex too Jaime to the living room with everybody else and let him cry then he ran to his room. "Justin, he asleep" Alex said and was walking away "hey Alex?" I said to him "yeah" He turned around "thank you" "No problem, I'm gonna go say bye to Jaime and then head out" He said and left out the door. I can't handle the stress it's not good for me at all. I just wish he told me sooner,  I get he wanted to protect me but I feel like the man I thought I loved would tell me everything but it breaks my heart that I don't know everything about my husband.

Alex's POV
After I said bye to Justin I went in Jaime's room he was turned over I facing the window holding a bear and a picture of him and Jason 2 years ago at the mall shopping. "Hey kiddo,  how ya doin" I asked him" he looked at me then turned around "I'm gonna be going in a little bit I just wanted to check on you before I left" He rolled over "Are you gonna come back" He asked "yeah" I said and moved his brown hair out of his face he looks a lot like Jason and I never noticed til now "can I come?" I thought for a second "I think your dad wants you here with him, he needs you tight now you need eachother, ok" He nodded and I kissed his forehead "bye bud" He smiled "bye uncle Alex" He rolled back over and I left and went home.

Jaime's POV
When uncle Alex left I layed down for a few minutes before I heard a knock at the door "go away" I wiped my tears then the door opened "I said go away" I felt the bed dip in "Jaime?" I heard dad say "are you gonna talk to me at all?" I stayed silent "fine ill talk" "I know you miss your father but it's for the best,  I miss him too but you have to understand he kept a really big secret from me and he lied that's why he left, I love you very much and he does too" I closed my eyes "if he loves me so much why did he leave me" He shifted on the bed "he left because I told him too he didn't want to leave but I told him to go for awhile maybe in the future we can work things out but for now we need space" He said and I rolled over "when is he coming back" He shrugged "I don't know bud" He sighed "can I call him?" He thought for a second "pleeaseee?" I sat up and gave him puppy eyes "that's probably not a food idea how about tomorrow" I pouted "but daddy?" I gave me a stern look "I said no, and that's final no if, ands, or buts about it now get some sleep you have school tomorrow" I looked at him "I don't wanna go" He stood up "why not?" I shrugged "well if you can't gibe me a reason then your going" I followed him to the kitchen "awe please can I just miss one day" I begged him "no" He said and took out some pans "bu-" He cut me off "Jaime McCann I said no" I huffed and he smacked my arm and it stung cuz he had water on his hand "keep it up" I layed my head down on the table and mumbled nothings and he grabbed a spoon and pointed at me "you got something you want to say" He asked me "no" I said "I thought so, now go clean your room and get ready for dinner" I looked at him "what're we having?" I asked "chicken, macaroni,  and pease" I made a digested face "Eww peas" I said and he looked at me "go clean your room" I went to clean my room and put all my dirty clothes in the basket and picked up my books and everything else, done.  "Jaime dinners ready" This is gonna be a looonnngg dinner I went downstairs and to the kitchen "dad I don't want the peas" He gave me a stern look and I sat down in a hurry "eat up!" I ate everything but the peas "Jaime, we're not doing this today" I looked at him "dad I hate peas you know know that" He looked at me "I don't care, they're good for you so eat them" I put my head down "jaiimmeee.." "Daaadddyy" I mocked "do you want a spanking" I know I'm 15 but I still get spankings "no" I said "then sit up and eat" I sat up but I didn't eat them he walked over to me "eat." He said and pointed at them "but daddy I don't want tooo" I whined "but jaime I don't careee" He mocked me and glared at me I put my head down again and he pulled out my chair and swatted my thigh "ow! Daddy" I said rubbing my bear legs all I had on were black Nike shorts and a black shirt "then eat" I shook my head and then the doorbell rang "hi Mr McCann is Jaime here" "Yes" "We wanted to know if he could come hang with is at the skatepark" "I'm sorry boys, but he's not gonna be going anywhere for a while" "Ok well tell him we said hi" "Ok" Then the door shut aw man I wanna go "your friends said hi" I smiled and yawned "well daddy I'm getting tired so I'm gonna head off to bed" I got up and he pulled me back down "eat" I hurry and ate them almost throwing up.
