"You never asked me! Maybe I don't WANNA go live with her!" I hollered from the staircase. My father's face turned a deep shade of red. He clenched and unclenched his fists.
"I didn't wanna tell you, because I knew you'd throw a fit like this." A fit? I'm not five anymore.
"What does that have to do with anything? I might as well go live on the streets. You don't want me here, and mom freakin' hates me! We both know she doesn't want me living under her roof! That's exactly why she left in the first place!" I stormed up the steps, and slammed my door shut with all my strength. I tossed myself onto my bed, and sobbed into my pillow.
My head began throbbing. I clenched my teeth, which just made it worse. I could hear footsteps coming up the stairs, so I quickly wiped the tears from my face. My door swung open.
"You leave Friday morning." The door shut, then there was silence. All I could do was hope there was something in San Antonio worth living for. Because right now, nothing was worth it.
