(Y/N's POV)

I wake up in Minho's arms. At some point he must have flipped round and ended up cuddling me and I, him.
Something about just feels perfectly natural. Our bodies just fit together perfectly. It's still pretty early and no one is up yet.
As much as I don't want to move away from Minho's grasp. I force myself to. I wriggle out if his arms and leave his room quietly walked up the stairs and along the hall to my room. Without too many floor boards creaking.
I lay in my bed waiting for the time for me to get up to come around. Soon enough I drift back to sleep, smiling about Minho.
I am woken by Frypan and Newt coming into my room and tipping me out of my bed, onto the floor. It is the fastest way to get me to wake up.
"I hate you two," I mumble sleepily, rubbing my eyes.
"Your twenty minutes late for work!" Newt says sighing.
I instantly jump up and grab random clothes, brush my hair up into a bun, shoo Newt and Frypan out if my room. I change and run to the kitchen, grab a banana and run to the Med hut, to find I am actually early.
"You two are shucking dead!" I yell.
I charge back to the kitchen grab some oatmeal and eat it at my own pace before heading to work. On time might I add.
Today is an exciting day because the new Greenie is due to come up every Greenie for the past five I have hoped it would be a girl instead we got Thomas, Chuck and a few others who are less than memorable. Of course I love Chuck, Frypan, Newt and Thomas they are like my brothers but I just wish I had a girl to talk to about girly things that boys wouldn't understand. Minho is also fun but he is less like family. He is my crush.
The day goes slowly and is extremely dull. I bandage up a couple Slicers and take out a Builder's splinter but that is exciting as it got until the Greenie alarm began to blare at its usual time. Usually the box didn't come up for a while after the alarm. Around half an hour. This time I knew, I knew it was going to be a girl this time. I have a feeling in my gut and my gut has never been wrong.
Sure enough half an hour later when the box arrived. There was a girl with wild dark hair and piercing blue eyes. Once they get her out of the box which took a while as it usually does. She looks completely calm for just coming out of a box into some weird prison with a bunch of random people. After Alby has given her the tour and whatever, she makes a beeline for me.
"Hey," she says smiling. "I noticed you were the only other girl so I guess that's it we are best friends,".
And sure enough we were. We chatted for the rest of the day about the Glade and boys and girly things.
At dinner she sits with us at the table. Thomas kept glancing at her out of the corner of his eye and at the bonfire when she was talking to Newt, Thomas kept staring at them. Almost making sure no one was flirting with Her.
Around half way through the bonfire it started to rain. Lightly at first but then it grew heavier and heavier until Alby called for everyone to sleep in the Homestead tonight.
The Homestead might seem spacious but when you try to fit over fifty people in it, it becomes rather cramped. Alby organised rooms. Since I have a room to myself and it is one of the largest rooms there were a lot if people assigned to my room.
Teresa and I were assigned to Thomas and Minho's room.
"How is there room? Have you been in it before?" Teresa asks me.
"It's relatively clean but it smells like runner," I pretend gag.
"What does runner smell like?" She asks puzzled.
"Like sweat and dirt," I say.
We head up to their room. Both boys are sleeping on the floor.
"You girls can get the beds," Thomas says smiling at Teresa.
"Thanks," we say in unison.
We are all already changed into our pyajamas. So we all just snuggle down and fall sound asleep.
