Marc's P.O.V:

"Alright class! Tonight's homework is that everyone finishes this worksheet by tomorrow morning! If you already so happen to finish it before class ended, you don't have any!"

I slowly stare down at my own worksheet as I stare at the wide gaps of blank spaces for each question. Great, now I have some serious work to get finished tonight. I sigh to myself softly as I take my papers and tuck them into my red binder, I shortly grab my notebook on the side on top of my binder as I swiftly stand up from my seat in my class. All my other classmates leave in sync as I lag behind them all. I know for a fact that Nathaniel and I are going to continue on making our comics today... even if I do have homework. Well, I'll take care of it later when I make it home.

"Hey! Marc!"

I stop in my tracks immediately as I turn around to see Marinette call out my name, her peachy skin glows softly in the sun as she waves her hand and arm to me. I take a mental deep breath as I turn myself around to wave at her in return, though. In comparison, my wave is far more small and less passionate. The blue hair female walks towards me as I instinctively hide my stuff under the flap of my red hoodie.

"Let me guess, your off to find Nathaniel again to work on more comics again?"

"Y-Yeah... I mean, at least he's h-here today that is..." I reply to Marinette sheepishly as I flash at her a soft smile.

"Well, you don't have to worry if Nathaniel is or isn't here today. He was in my class all day, so, there's nothing to sweat about!" Marinette chirps to me as she gives me a smile. I hum to her as I shift my feet closer to one another.

"G-Good to know... H-He'll b-be in the a-art room like usual after school, correct?"

"I'm sure he will Marc!" Marinette again informs me with a bright tone as she holds her pink bag with all her school work inside in her two hands down in front of her, "Anyways... I'll just get going now, my parents need my help back at the bakery."

I nod to Marinette as I hum to her response. She turns herself around as she goes down the hall in the opposite way from where I'm heading as I can somehow hear her hum to herself a soft tune. I snap back to reality as the time hits me in the face. Oh no, I must be so late in making it to the art room by now. This is all going to be so embarrassing... I force my legs forwards into the direction I need to head to as something in my heart is racing. However... why? It's maybe just me and myself with my train of thought on typical possibilities on how to embarrass myself.

Nathaniel's P.O.V:

"Where's Marc? I'm sure that he's usually here by now..."

I flip my color pencil in between my fingers around as I use my hand and arm as a stand to hold my face up off my signature work desk. I release a soft sigh as I place the color pencil in my hand down. Without my partner's writing for the newest issue, what can I really do anyways? I can only draw the story not actually write them for my life. I trace my fingers along the blank sheet of paper in front of me as zero of my inspiration sparks up.

"Hey Nathaniel, you still waiting for Marc to come?" I turn my head towards my close friend Alix as she shakes a yellow spray can up and down in her hand. Removing the mask over her mouth to speak clearly. I straighten my back up as I nod to her sheepishly.

"Well, yeah you know it... Marc is usually here by this time."

Alix looks at her as she gives me a assuring grin and shrugs her shoulders to me. Placing the mask back over her mouth as she turns back to the large in process mural in front of her. I won't lie, she's surprisingly really patient with this project of her's...

"Who knows? I mean, Marc can always just be sick today so he didn't come to school. But, there's always tomorrow to hope to see him again-."

"A-AAH! I'M SO SORRY I-I'M LATE-!"

I watch as Marc just makes it into the room as he ends up crashing right into Alix's side. Taking both her and himself to the ground as his notebook flies to the other end of the wall in front of them both. Alix dropping her yellow spray can in the process.

Me? I simply look at the two as they lay on the floor, a bit weak as I stand up from my space. Towards them as I lend both my comic partner and Alix a helping hand. Alix takes my hand first with a small 'thanks' as Marc slightly hesitantly but surely takes my hand too.

"I-I'm so sorry Alix... T-This is so embarrassing..." Marc apologizes to Alix as she whips her shortish pink hair behind her and back into place.

"Aye, it's all fine Marc! I mean, I understand you just wanted to come here to see your close friend here ASAP." Alix explains to Marc as she smiles to him softly.

I turn my looks to Marc as he shares a soft glance to me. A shy blush grows on his cheeks as he turns away in a swift snap as he clears his throat. Walking to his notebook on the floor as he picks it up again, returning back in front of me as he opens it up to a bunch of brand new pages.

"N-Nath... I made some new dialogue and, I wanted to s-see if you liked w-what I wrote."

I gently take the notebook out of Marc's finger less black glove hands as I skim through each word. I keep reading the work in front of me as I flip the pages one by one. This, is perfect! I hand Marc's notebook back to him as I give him a smile. The blush that just started to cool down comes back as he smiles back gently.

"It's perfect for our newest comic!"

"R-Really?"

"Of course! I mean, I'm personally surprised that your still shy even to this day." I joke to Marc as he simply slouches forward a little with the typical shy look in his face.

"W-Well... I guess t-that's just me... But... I-Is is a-a bad look on me?" Marc questions me instinctively as he hugs his notebook close to his chest. I stare at him as I shake my head. His bright emerald eyes look at me again as he hangs his mouth open by the slightest, though. Looks like he's not so aware.

"Of course not, it just shows me that you won't be changing the way you are when I first met you. Besides, how would this whole comic talk have started if we didn't meet thanks to Marinette?"

Marc's P.O.V:

I swear my heart is still in the same racing speed from even before. Calm down heart before you get me in trouble... But, what Nathaniel is saying about us meeting... it's true, if I didn't ever consider on following after her into the art room. How and when could Nathaniel and I meet? Well, my thinking can go away now, please. I keep looking at my friend and partner as I give him a small smile.

"Y-Yeah... M-Marinette sure knows how to bring people together as friends."

"I mean, everyone but Chloe." Nathaniel points out as he chuckles at his own statement. Waving his wrist around at his own thoughts on Chloe.

Out of the more deeper meaning on Chloe, Nathaniel is right again. I chuckle at the pointed out point as Nathaniel cools down his acts. His one revealing ocean eye glancing back at me as he reaches out for a pencil on his work space.

"Thanks again for helping me with the stories, I couldn't ask for a better person to be both my friend and partner for these projects." Nathaniel informs me sincerely as he turns himself all the way around in his seat as he begins the storyboard of our last series one comics.

I walk myself to the table behind him as I open my notebook again. My own pencil and eraser out I start to write again. Of course, there needs to be a new starter sneak peek or a new full comic for the second series. Though, why can't I focus so much like I used to?

Is something for me changing?
