A 'Special' Issue (MLB Nathaniel Kurtzberg x Marc Anciel)

✿Chapter Nineteen✿

 Marc's P.O.V: 

My feet zoom myself through hoards of red akuma's, of course some of those trying to reach my Miraculous on my right wrist. But obviously if I ever let that happen it's game over on my side. Besides, how can I even know when the rest of the heroes can arrive to help out Chat Noir and Ladybug? Speaking of which, should Ladybug be back with Chat by now? 

A voice of continuous grunts towards something echoes into my ears along with some metal clanking against nothingness. I stop my tracks as I screech to spot Chat Noir trying to hit away a bunch of akuma's all at once. Not doing so much affect as the akuma's only bounce back and return back to attacking towards Chat Noir. No time to lose. 

I leap down to where Chat Noir is as I quickly equip into my hand my iconic bladed boomerang. Chat Noir turning towards me as he keeps swinging his staff through the air with the hundreds of akuma's fluttering about. 

"Wh... What took you so long Spade?" Chat Noir questions me as his breathing is more thinner as he is clearly tired, or at least doing his best to keep the akuma's away as best possible. 

"Sorry Chat! But I had to slither away for a while! I got caught up in something!" I inform Chat Noir as I continue to try and keep all the akuma's away. 

"Well, maybe next time try to speed that up?" 

"N-Noted." 

"Anyways... we need to start to try and help the citizens not get akumatized by any of these akumas. We've already lost many to these." Chat Noir explains as he keeps swinging his staff around to push back any akuma's still drawing closer to us. 

More and more akuma's slowly start to corner the two of us as already my arms feel sore from throwing my boomerang around the place. Where actually is Ladybug right now?! She's the only one that can purify akuma's! 

"T-This is I know a bad time to ask this... but where's everyone else?!" 

"They should have been here by now Spade! But right now it's probably taking them some more time!" Chat Noir informs me as he keeps blocking himself from more incoming akuma's. 

'Is this...really how we end? right here-?' 

A quick ribbon of white light catches all the akuma's around Chat Noir and I up as in no time they all are captured. In sync, Chat Noir and I fall to our knees to try and recollect our breath. Ladybug landing right in front of us as she breezily taps her yo-yo and all the now pure akuma's fly away and return back to there 'home.' 

"Sorry I was late! I picked up a new recruit!" Ladybug informs Chat and I as suddenly. A boy with his red tomato like hair tied into a very small ponytail lands next to her. His face covered in a red and black mask as some small horns extend off right above his eyes. The suit also a mix of red and black tones, finally with some weird orange transparent colored wing decor attached to the back of his suit, "Chat Noir, Spade Cobra... meet Roi Dragon!" 

"Alright! Another guy!" Chat Noir exclaims out with a confident smirk. 

"Yeah... nice to meet you too Chat," Roi Dragon informs Chat as he rolls his eyes a little playfully at him. Then the new super heroine snapping his attention to me as it's just a small pause of awkward silence, "And... your Spade Cobra I believe?" 

"H-Hmm? Yeah I am, nice to meet you too."       

Nathaniel's P.O.V: 

'Wow... he's still adorable even when he's Spade Cobra~' 

No, stop thinking such things in a time like this Nathaniel. I nod as I stick my hand out to Spade Cobra, smiling warmly, "Well, it's nice nice to see you too."
