NIALL’s POV

“Hey, Nialler! What’s going on? You look a bit… well, I don’t know. You just don’t smile and laugh as usual. What’s wrong?” Harry asks me.

Well, actually there IS something going on. Something huge. Something confusing. But at the moment I can’t tell him. In some minutes we’re having an important meeting. We have to discuss whether the next tour is going to be next year or the year after that. It’s important for all of us including myself. And I want my head to be as free as possible.

“No. It’s okay.” I tell him without looking at his eyes. Forcing myself to smile, I turn around but Harry grabs my arm.

“Niall, you’re the worst liar I have ever seen. And trust me – I’ve seen loads of them. But we’ll talk later, right?”

Before answering him, Jessy opens the door and waves at us to come inside. God, I hate her so much. It’s her fault that Laura left yesterday… I think. Actually, I don’t know why she left. But I think she heard me talking with Jessy and she found out that I’m not the person she’d thought I was. Probably she found out that I am Niall Horan form One Direction and that’s why she left.

“Niall! You’re listening. You know what I’ve just said?” Rob, one of our managers, asks me, with everyone in the room staring at me.

“No, I’m sure. But you know, there were people calling me really late yesterday evening. So, I’m still pretty tired.” I look at Jessy and she turns really red. “But no worry though, I try to concentrate!”

“Okay. What I’ve just said was that we have been thinking of a so called “Surprise Surprise Concert” in London. It would be open air and would take place in Hyde Park. What do you guys think?”

A surprise concert? Well, actually that’s quite a good idea. It would be fun. To be honest, every concert with the boys is fun. We’re always doing nothing but lots of shit on stage and everyone has a good laugh. So why not?

“I like the idea! How would you tell everybody?” Liam asks.

“We were thinking of posting it some days before the concert. So everybody would still have enough time to buy tickets.” Peter, the third manager, explained.

“Oh, you want to make the fans pay for this?” Harry asks and you can really hear that he doesn’t like this idea.

“Of course. You’ve ever heard of a concert which is free?”

“No, but anyways. I don’t want them to pay something. We could design t-shirts and sell them there and earn money. But I don’t want to sell tickets.”

“He’s right!” I tell them and the other boys are nodding. “A free surprise concert is much cooler. And Rob, think of the press. They’d love us and we’d get really good publicity.”

“Although it might be true that you’d be loved by the press, it doesn’t work. You can’t plan a concert without knowing how many people are gonna come. That’s impossible!”

Rob tells us and according to his voice, it’s clear that we really don’t want to discuss this. Thinking of a solution, nobody says a word. I look at the faces of the others. And suddenly I notice a sparkle in Liam’s eyes. I smile. This always means that he’s got a brilliant idea.

“What is it, Liam?” I ask him.

He looks at me with a smile on his lips: “Well, we’re going to plan this concert and then we’ll tell the fans and everybody who wants to come, has to register online.” He looks at us with a happy glaze.

“Hm…” Tom says. “That’s actually not that bad. We’re gonna discuss the details later. But I think it’s quite good. Well done, Liam!” Smiling, he gives Liam a high five.

LAURA’s POV

“OH MY GOD, LAURA! YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT THIS!” The voice of my sister wakes me friendly. I open my eyes and see her standing right next to my bed.

“Really, Elly? Is it that important?” I ask her, closing my eyes again.

“Yes. Definitely yes.” She tells me and I give up.

“Hope so. What is it?” I ask her, still not sure if I should be angry of her because she woke me up that early after last night.

Last night.

I don’t even want to think of this right now. I’ve been dumped. Again. Though it had felt different.

“So, it’s so cool! You won’t believe me.” Elly continues. “There will be another One Direction concert in two days!” She cheers and smiles and I wonder why this is such amazing news.

“One Direction? Isn’t this that band you fancy?” I wonder. She’s sometimes said something about this band but I didn’t really pay attention. I’m not interested in boy bands.

“Yes! They’re so cool. And I love them. The members are Harry, Liam, Louis, Zayn and N…”

“Okay okay, Elly! I don’t care, right? I just woke up some minutes ago. So, what exactly do you want? You didn’t only want to TELL me this news, did you?”

Turning a bit red and looking at her hands, she answered slowly: “Well, you’re right. You know? I’ve already spoken to Mommy and she doesn’t want me to go there on my own. So she suggested that you…”

“Hell, no!” I interrupt her. “I won’t come with you to a concert with thousands of screaming teenagers. This is absolutely not my plans for Wednesday!”

“Please, Laura! Wednesday is the 23rd July. And it’s also their 4th year anniversary. And for me it’s so fucking important to go there. Please! You also wouldn’t need to get me anything for my birthday AND for Christmas! Just go with me to the concert!” She begs nearly falling on her knees.

Well, not having to think of presents sounds great -  actually.

“How much are the tickets?” I ask her and she starts smiling.

“They’re free. The only thing to do is registering online.”

“That’s all?” I ask her suspiciously. She nods.

So why not? They’re free, my sister would be so happy and for me it would be a good distraction. I sigh.

“Okay. Let’s do it!”
