Too much love can kill you

In a lovely park where she sit,
She met a guy so tall and sweet.
There, he took love from her,
But now he wanted to set her free forever.

One day, another girl sat on his side,
Her feelings are overflowing from that sight.
She went home devastated, wanting  to cry on her bed.
There was no single word she could have said.

Her father came home late that night.
He looked for her from left to right.
Through her bedroom's door he broke,
He found her hanging on a tight rope.

Using a knife, he cut it and held her down.
On her face, he saw nothing but a pure frown.
In the corner of her room was a note,
There engraved words she quote,
"Dig my grave, dig it deep.
Marble it, from head thy feet.
On that marble, please place a dove
To show the world and to him, that I died for too much love"

Inspired by a poem I recently had read, "I died for love by Geronimo (2012).. I just loved that poetry so  it made me come up with a version focusing on a third person POV.
