Hailee's POV

I'd been at the studio for a few hours, working on some new music when Dustin walked into the room. "Sounding great, Hailee, why don't we take 5? Somebody looks like he needs to talk to you." My manager, Rick said. I nodded, taking off the headphones, setting them down and walking out to Dustin. He took my hand and pulled me back into the studio. "What's wrong, babe? I've got like 2 more hours here then I'll be home." I said, looking at him. He looked a little sad and worried, which made me even more curious and more worried. "Nothing's wrong, I just....I just can't keep doing this anymore. I've fallen head over heels for a Filipino beauty, she's so beautiful. The minute I look into her eyes, its like all my troubles melt away, when she touches me, I feel like I'm alive again." I looked at him in disbelief. I was actually hurt but, when he pulled out a velvet red ring box and opened it, I actually understood who he was talking about, it was me. I smiled, looking down at him. "I love you too, Dusty and yes, I'll marry you." I said, smiling as he slipped the ring on my finger and kissed me. "I'm honestly glad you said yes, I thought that if I pulled a Van, you'd become Cheyenne and chase after me." I laughed, knowing the EXACT scene he was talking about. We were both HUGE Reba fans, the show and the person. "I was planning on it but, I could kinda tell who you were talking about once you said Filipino." I smiled as he lifted me up & kissed me again. "You really are something else, you know that? I'm glad you get me, I honestly don't think anybody else ever could." He said, kissing me again.

2 hours later....

"Ok y'all, I'm out, thanks for a great session today. I'll be in here tomorrow at 7 am." I said as I'd finished and walked out, holding my Starbucks, phone and notebook. I really did take my work seriously and I loved writing my own songs, it was very relaxing. I made a pit stop at the gas station and Starbucks yet again for another before I drove home. I opened the garage door, parked my Escalade as I shut the garage door. As soon as I shut my engine off, Alecia came busting out of the mud room's door, along with our dog, Brinkley. I was greeted with puppy kisses and little hugs. "Hi mama! Daddy's making dinnwer, come inside, come inside!" Alecia said, pulling me out of my car. I laughed as I grabbed my Starbucks but left my notebook. My phone was already in my hand. I walked in and inhaled the smell, it smelled delicious. "Hey beautiful! How was the studio?" I smiled, holding up my ring and holding Alex on my hip. "The strangest thing happened, some cowboy came in and asked me to marry him."  I laughed a little as he did as well. I smiled as Alecia clung to Dustin's leg until he picked her up. "Strangest thing happened to me too, I asked an angel to marry me....HEY! Now I know who it was! It was you!" Dustin said, laughing as he kissed me. I kissed him back and rested my head on his shoulder as he finished making dinner. "This is perfect." He said, a little under his breath. I smiled as I sat down with Alex. "Hey, babe, dinner's ready." Dustin said, slightly shaking me from my nap. "Alright, let me put Alex in his playpen and grab the monitor." I said, getting up from the recliner and putting Alex in the playpen. I grabbed the monitor and walked toward the dining room. It was really rare that we used this. "So, how was it today with the kids?" I asked as I spun a forkful of pasta then popped it into my mouth. I slightly moaned, the man really did know how to cook. He looked over at me and smirked. "It went good, Alecia actually helped me out with organizing my fishing tackle. She separated the different kinds of frog lures." I smiled as she nodded and looked all proud. "I did! Daddy said that I could go out on the boat with him & Paps if I did! Can I go, momma?" She asked, looking from Dustin to me. "Sure, but, you gotta behave and if you catch a fish, you have to release, its a catch and release lake out there, ok? Don't throw a fit about it or you won't go out again, alright?" I said, looking at her. Alecia nodded and finished her plate. She took it to the sink but, I saw her lean it down so that Brinkley could lick some of the sauce off. "Alecia Skyrah, what did your daddy & I tell you about doing that?" She turned around real quick and sat her plate on the counter and ran back to us. "I'm sorry, mama. Brinkley didn't have any food in his bowl so, I thought it was ok. He was whining and looked really sad." I saw the tears in her eyes starting to well up and I thought twice about punishing her. "Its ok, baby. Go get him some food of his own, we're gonna let it slide this one time, alright? You're not in trouble, just don't do it again, ok?" I said, looking at her. She nodded and looked at Brinkley, "Come on, Brinks! I'm gonna get you some food!" Brinkley bounded over to her and wagged his tail excitedly. I smiled, those two really were the best of friends. I thought of my own dogs back in LA, Bruno and Paris.

I smiled as Alex woke up and Dustin turned on the home speaker system and put on 'Heartache On the Dance Floor'. I smiled as he spun me around and kissed me, "You really are my heartache on the dance floor, sweetheart." I smiled as I picked Alex up and slowly spun around. Dustin twirled Alecia around as she laughed. I loved the sight in front of me, my little family.

Hoping that Dustin would be alright that it would be expanding soon.....I just didn't know how to tell him.
