Lydia draws the pattern on her hand with a marker. “I don't know. It doesn't look like much to me,” Lydia tells her sister. “It's a pattern. It means something,” Layla tells her. “You really think Scott's gonna know what it is?” Allison asks from the backseat. “No, but he might know someone who does,” Layla says as she drives off. “How are you so sure that it means anything at all?” Lydia asks her sister. “Because that girl wasn't just looking for Scott. It's like she needed to find him. Like she had to. And that means something.”•°•°•°•°•
“What?” Stiles asks Scott. “What, what do you mean, "what"?” Scott asks him as they walk down the pavement with Stiles and Adam. “I mean 'what', and you know what,” Stiles says .“"What" what?” Scott asks him causing Adam to groan. “God, would you guys quit it?” Adam asks the two of them. “That look you were giving,” Stiles says ignoring Adam. “I didn't give a look,” Scott tells him. “Oh, there was a distinct look, Scott,” Adam adds making Scott raise an eyebrow at him. “What look?” Scott asks him.
“The look that says that the last thing you feel like doing right now, is going to a party.”
“It's not that. It just seems weird going to a different high school's party,” Scott says causing Adam to nod agreeing. “It is weird, Stiles,” Adam tells his friend. “What? Would you two—God, one drink, all right? You two will be fine. I went to nursery school with this girl, okay? She promised to introduce us to all of her friends. So tonight, no, Layla no Allison, no Lydia. Tonight, we're moving on,” Stiles tells the two boys.
“You're right.”
“Yeah, he is.”
“That's right I'm right. Moving on. Onward and upward. Let's do this. That's what I'm talking about,” Stiles says high fiving his two best friends. “Now look at me.”
“Okay.”
The three of them walk towards the porch and Stiles knocks on the door. “How's my breath smell?” Scott asks causing the two boys to look weirdly at him. “I'm not smelling your breath,” Stiles says. “Do you have any gum?” Scott asks Adam. “No. No gum. You're fine,” Adam tells him patting his back. “Can you at least tell me what kind of party this is?” Scott asks him.
The door opens and they walk. “Stiles!” a blonde girl yells out. “Hey, there's the birthday gir—”
He gets cut off by her kissing him on his lips. Scott and Adam's eyes widen as they look at the two. Adam couldn't believe his eyes. A hot girl was kissing Stiles. Scott believed that it was his very first kiss. “So glad you made it. Come downstairs and a help me pick the wine,” she says dragging a love sick Stiles away from them. Stiles looks at his friends with a goofy smile on his face. Adam shakes his head not believing it. Scott looks at the girl next to him and sends her a small smile. The girl looks him up and down in a disgusted way. He looks at her in an offended way.
