Sans sighed in sadness, then closed his eyes for a well-deserved nap. Before he could fall completely asleep, however, Sans heard an agonizingly slow shuffle through the snow. He got up and put his chair in its proper position. The shuffling stopped at his post. "uh, hello? anybody there?" Sans called out, confused that he couldn't see this person. Actually... this feeling... it filled Sans up with admiration and love. He looked over his sentry station and gasped in shock.
In front of Sans was Ketchup. His one true love. The love Sans thought he had lost forever. "S... Sans?"
"ketchup!" Sans ran over to her and squeezed her. Sans wouldn't stop hugging her, and she felt her juices rise up. Sans seemed to notice and stepped away, only to go back to her and kiss her straight on the lips. "mmm... i've missed you... i love you so much, babe," Sans muttered. Ketchup blushed even more red, if that was even possible.
Sans stepped back and studied Ketchup's features, as if to make sure she was real. "wait... how'd you even get here?" he asked her.
"I managed to get past the caretaker of the Ruins and the door to over here." When Asgore had banned all ketchup, the original plan was to throw them out through the barrier. But when it was discovered that even ketchup couldn't get past the barrier, Asgore opted to banish them to the Ruins instead.
Sans gathered Ketchup in his arms. "Sans? What are you doing?"
"i'm getting you out of here. if anybody sees you... sees us... well, i don't want anything happening to you."
Ketchup blushed at the close contact with Sans' body and happily obliged to submit herself to his arms. She closed her eyes as he cradled her against his body and started walking to his house. Outside, he suddenly stopped. "Is something wrong?"
"papyrus," San replied grimly. "he's in the house right now. he might see you." Suddenly, without warning, Sans stuffed Ketchup in his jacket, apologizing because of the heat and saying it was all he could think of. Then, he walked in the house.
Oh, Ketchup was hot all right. But not from the heat generated by the jacket.
Sans stiffly walked by Papyrus, who laid sniffling on the couch, and straight up the stairs to his room, ignoring Papyrus' calls after him. He quickly shut the door and locked it, then gingerly lifted Ketchup out of his jacket and onto the floor. "you alright, sweetie?" Ketchup nodded. "good."
Ketchup hopped onto Sans' bed and he followed her. "sooo... what should we do? i mean, like, since nobody can know you're here and all."
"I don't know," admitted Ketchup. "I... I hadn't thought that far ahead."
"that's alright," Sans murmured, leaning closer to Ketchup. "as long as you're here with me, i can do anything."
