"Am I interrupting something?" Richard asked as he gently closes the door. It was David’s father, the founder of the company. He looks just like David but an older David.
"No, not at all. What business brought you here?" David walks towards the door placing his hand at the small of Daniel’s back motioning him outside his office.
Daniel smiled in response loving every touch of David.
"Should I be worrying something?" Richard asked suggestively as he picks up a picture frame from David’s desk. It was David when he was 5 riding a bicycle.
"There’s nothing to worry about, dad." he stated reassuringly. He sits on the sofa facing the window overlooking at the crowded city.
"If you say so." he searches his coat and pulls out an invitation dropping it on the table. "Do come to this event. I want you to meet someone. It’s about time our company should merge with the Carlton’s." with that he walks out of the office and stops in front of Daniels desk. "you must be his new secretary." he greeted while eyeing him up and down. His sky blue eyes judging everything on him.
"Have a nice day ahead." he walks towards the elevator without another word.
Daniel just stood in place shocked not knowing what to respond.

"You called me sir?" Daniel asked nervously while closing the door behind him.
"Yes. Have a seat." David instructed as he finished signing piles of papers. “So…” he set his pen down and places both his hands behind his head showing off his well defined arms. He saw Daniel tensed from his actions and that makes him more cocky and bossy. “..how are you today?” his tone shifted from his usual authoritative to friendly and he even makes Daniel more fidgety by staring at him seductively.
“I’m…f-fine, sir.” Daniel looks around not wanting any eye contact. Why is he staring at me like that?!
“Are you still considering Johnny’s offer?” this time, David stands up fixing his tie and hovered behind Daniel. He can feel Daniel’s nervousness whenever he’s around him. He places his right hand on Daniel’s shoulder and he stiffened in response. “Do yourself a favor. Don’t go on a date with Johnny. You’ll hurt yourself.”
Daniel didn’t move a single muscle. “It’s nothing important. He said it’s just a date and I believe him. I’ll be fine.” He assured while looking at his shoes.
“Just listen to me. He might do something all of us will be regretting in the end.” His tone filled with concern like he cared so much about Daniel.
“Why do you care so much? It’s not like we’re together or something.” Daniel’s slightly irritated voice makes David release a deep sigh and tighten his grip on his shoulder. Daniel doesn’t want his personal space invaded. He’s so irritating like my mother.
Deep inside David was hurt knowing he cared so much but afraid to show it. “You’re so stubborn, aren’t you?”
“Sorry about that. It’s just that I get easily irritated when it comes to my personal space.” He relaxed a bit and plays with his fingers. He looks up innocently and asks the most stupid question nonchalantly. “Sir, are you….are you jealous?” There it is again. The same expression he saw before from David’s eyes but this time it was clear as the sky.
David sighed heavily before thinking deeply. He’s been debating with himself whether he’ll confess his true feelings or let it hide under his shadows for he fears for what the world will do to them. More importantly, he’s afraid his reputation might go down. What will society thinks when they found out that he likes a GUY, not just a guy but his secretary for that matter?
“I’m afraid to admit this but….yes. I’m jealous. I’m jealous because I like you. I’m jealous because he asked you first.” He never felt so relieved. It’s like a huge weight from his shoulder has been lift off. It’s the first time he feels so alive. “I don’t know if you felt the same when we kissed but I know there’s something I can’t explain about that kiss.”
“As much as I wanted to tell you, I also felt it. That tingling sensation all over my body. Butterflies dancing in my stomach. It was like the time had stopped and it feels like we are meant to be. I know its so cliché but that’s what I felt and still feels whenever you touch me.” Daniel confessed as he hides his blushing face by looking at the window.
“I didn’t know you have feelings for me despite those torturing I did to you.” Guilt runs throughout his body.
“You have no idea. Ever since I saw you, I felt something . I shouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you.” It’s David turn to blush but he immediately hides it not wanting to show any emotion for now. Daniel stands up and took David’s hand. “Now that everything is settled, I should go with Johnny and end things clearly before anyone gets hurt. I’ll be fine. I promise. Besides, you’ve already confess you feeling for me, right? And that’s all that matters.”
“I feel like I’m the girl in this relationship. Call me if he does something unpleasant.” He cupped Daniel’s face and kissed him passionately, this time longer than before.
Daniel was again caught off guard but rather than avoid the circumstances, he closed his eyes enjoying every second of the moment. Their body came closer not even a single hair strand can pass through.
It’s like after eternity when they broke the kiss and both of them panting for air pressing their foreheads and feeling each other’s presence.
“I should get going. Someone might see us. I don’t want to be the cause of troubles.” Before Daniel walks towards the door with the biggest smile on his face, David slaps his ass playfully winking at him.
“I can’t wait to have some of that package you have.” David bit his lower lip teasingly as he stares at Daniels ass.
Daniel dropped his smiles and gasped touching his ass. He continued walking sending David an evil glare before shutting the door behind him.
I know this chapter is bit short. I’ll make it longer next time. :)
