As he walks out the elevator, everyone is staring him with smiles on their faces. He stops midway and looked around like he's in the wrong floor. He looked back from the elevator to check the metallic number. 24th floor. He spotted Diana and immediately walks towards her.
"Why is everyone staring at me? is there something on me? And why are they smiling?" he whispered. He’s not used to people staring at him.
Diana just grinned and hugged him. Daniel doesn’t know what to do so he hugged Diana back instead. "Check your table. And by the way, congratulations!" she rubbed his back before motioning him to his table.
His eyes widened and gawked before turning to a wide smile. "I won! I can’t believe it!" he shouted unexpectedly while jumping up and down like a kid just won a teddy bear.
"Wait. Is this true? Am I dreaming?" he shook Diana’s shoulder a bit harsh making her wiggle.
PAK!!!! Diana slapped Daniel stopping him from dislocating her shoulder.
"Ow! That hurts. But thank you. I needed that. It’s actually real. My very first award." he took the plaque and smells the flowers. He saw a card inside the bouquet and read silently. Congratulations!
"I wonder who sent these." I hope its David. He smiled assuming it's from David.
Lunch time is approaching and his job is done. He was preparing for lunch when Johnny stood in front of him. "Hey Danny cutie. Did you receive my present?" as usual he smiled brightly and looking sexy in his well fitted white shirt defining his perfect body.
"I...uhm...you mean the flowers? Thank you I guess." he stammered while trying to hide his blushing face.
"Aw! You’re so cute. At first I thought Loraine was some kind of overreacting but when I saw you..." he leaned closer to whisper in his ear "I like you already." his hot breath makes Daniel shudder and felt goose bumps all over him.
"Eherm." David leaned on the door frame. "Am I interrupting something?" his voice as cold as ice.
"Hello to you too big brother. I noticed that you are not treating Daniel the right way so I’m doing the honor." he took Daniel’s hand like a precious item. "Will you go on a dinner date with me tonight? Please say yes." he kissed his fingers lightly.
Daniels face reddened from embarrassment. The fact that the person he admires the most is watching them intently. He can't see any reaction from David’s face and he doesn’t know what he'll do to him.
"I....I don’t know. I have work tomorrow. Busy busy." he said chuckling as he pulls his hand away.
"Oh come on. It’s not like we're having sex or anything. It’s just dinner." he winked at Daniel with a wicked grin.
"Ok. Just dinner and dinner alone. No s-sex." he's uncomfortable saying the word sex out loud. A dinner doesn’t hurt right? So why not give it a try. Besides I’ll get to know better David from his brother. Sounds like a plan.
Daniel saw something flashed from David’s eyes. It was anger, jealousy and sadness all in one so fast he thought he was just imagining.
"So I’ll come and pick you up here 6 pm sharp." he waved his hand as he watched Daniel walk inside David’s office. "Aren’t going to chase after him? Like what you did last time?" he leaned closer to David’s ear and whispered. He patted David’s cheek and walk away.
David walked inside his office and closed the door. He’s watching Daniel intently as he arrange scattered folders on his table.
"You’re not going, are you?" he asked a little bit concerned.
Daniel suddenly stops and blushed good thing David was behind him.
"Why not? I mean it’s just dinner." he said shyly.
"I know him more than you know. He’s just using you for his payback plan. So I advice you to cut whatever relationship you have."
Daniel turns around to face David and he saw a different person. David’s face is full of worries and concern and his eyes are pleading him not to go. "How can you say so?" Daniel wants explanations. Reasons to believe him. This is the first time he saw a very different David it’s as if he let out all of his emotion resurfaced. "Why are you telling me all of this?" maybe there is hope. Maybe David likes Daniel too.
"Maybe this will answer all your questions." David walks towards Daniel so fast he didn’t notice and their lips met. David kissed Daniel. Daniel was caught off guard and his eyes widened in shock. He felt like he'd been electrocuted from the tingling sensation all over his body. Millions of butterflies dancing inside him. They both felt the world stops from revolving and time freezes. It’s like the kiss will never end and like the ticking of the clock their hearts beat as one. After they broke the kiss they were both panting for air. Daniel covered his mouth still shocked and doesn’t believe what just happened.
"I... I thought you hate me." Daniel mumbled as he rested his forehead on David’s chest.
"Well, you thought wrong." David rested his chin on top of Daniels head as he hugged him closer.
"Am I dreaming? Tell me this is just a dream." Daniel looked directly to those sky blue eyes full of happiness, the first time he saw such emotion from him.
David cupped Daniels chin and he kissed him again. "Does that feel like a dream?" he smiled as he looked at Daniels eyes. Daniel shook his head while blushing and a smile is forming on his lips.
"It seems like you’re not the only one happy in here." David teased as he pointed at Daniel’s crotch.
Daniel turned around his face glowing like a red light bulb. "Shutup. I just can’t believe what just happened is all." he quickly grabbed a folder and covered his happy mini Daniel.
"It’s ok.” David hugged Daniel wrapping his arms around his shoulders. "You’re not the only one." he whispered seductively as he grinds his hard on Daniel’s back.
Daniel gasped in shocked and he can really feel David’s junior. He shifted uncomfortably trying to get out from David’s warm and securing hug but it’s too comfortable to let go not to mention something long is poking him. It’s what he dreamed since the day he saw him. Pervert.
David spun Daniel to face him just before the door opened and both of them look who interrupted their intimate moment
